An Internship in Merchandising Merchandising Intern

Responsibilities: • Intern needed for Collections and MSE product management. Intern will work closely with Product Managers and Associate Product Managers on assortment planning, sales analysis, and communications with retail partners. Intern will also organize special projects as directed by PM’s and VP Requirements: • Candidate should have a specific interest in product development and licensing/retail operations

An Internship in Product Design MSE and MSC intern

Responsibilities: • Assist in the design and development of a wide range of home products for our Martha Stewart Everyday and Martha Stewart Collection retail programs. The product categories include: Tabletop, Cookware, Garden and Ready to Assemble Furniture Requirements: • Candidate should be an undergraduate or graduate student in Industrial Design who is proficient in drafting, Graphite, PhotoShop and Illustrator Holiday/Crafts intern

Responsibilities: • Assist in the design and development of products for our Martha Stewart Crafts retail program. Products include craft kits, children’s crafts products, scrap booking, stickers and embellishments, gift wrap and packaging • Assist in the design and development of products for our Martha Stewart Everyday and Martha Stewart Collection retail Christmas programs. Products include ordainments, wreaths, gift wrap and packaging Requirements: • Candidate should be an undergraduate or graduate student preferably studying Illustration or Industrial Design. Must be proficient in Illustrator and PhotoShop and enjoy crafting Home Textile intern

Responsibilities: • Aid the textile Soft Home designers with textile designs for all our retail partners. They will assist in the creation of textile designs, created by hand (painting) and on the computer, color palettes and colorways, hand painted or CADed • Archiving Requirements: • Candidate should have knowledge of basic textile design —pattern repeats and colorways. Computer skills would be helpful—designing textiles using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Pointcarre

Responsibilities: •D  esigning the front and back of book, helping keep the art department organized, running errands and helping art directors on photo shoots Requirements: •C  andidate should be an art student or recent graduate with knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator Art intern

Responsibilities: • Interns would assist with any projects that our teams are working on. This might include: design development and research, photo shoot preparation, comping and assisting of other designers Requirements: • Candidate should be in a design program and preferably interested in package design Graphic Design intern

Responsibilities: • Assist all Art Directors with design work on packaging and collateral for our retail businesses Requirements: • Candidate should currently be enrolled in a BFA graphic design program (sophomore +) or have just graduated from one • Candidate should be proficient in both computer skills (InDesign, AI and PhotoShop) as well as crafts and comping

Responsibilities: • Provide general assistance in the Design Department for MS License Hardlines. Daily activities will include developing concepts, sketching, CAD and general department assistance for MS hardwire and tabletop lighting products

Responsibilities: • Hands on prep for and at MSL photo shoots. Research and organize projects for the Style Department Requirements: • Prefer candidates with an art school background who might already have an understanding of color, composition or photography

Style intern

Responsibilities: • Assist with styling over all merchandising categories (Showrooms, Macy’s KB Homes, photo shoots, etc.). Also, materials research, communicating with vendors, sourcing samples, administrative duties, shopping, etc. Requirements: • Candidate should be a 4th year in design school (interior design) or more. Experience with photo shoots is a plus

Requirements: • Candidate should be a Journalism, Communications or Media Broadcasting Student

Responsibilities: • Provide research for various projects. Schedule and coordinate radio guests for weekly design show. Assist in creating presentations and speeches Requirements: • Candidate should have an art history background and possibly a minor in business. They should also have research and tech knowledge. Candidate should not be a design major

Responsibilities: • Assist the Sr. Licensing Manager and the Sr. Design Director KB Home update SKU sheets, track product development with designers, update and create calendars for product development, assist in putting together presentation boards Requirements: • Candidate should have computing skills: Word and Excel a must • Candidate should have knowledge of merchandising

Responsibilities: • Design advertorials, collateral for marketing projects (e.g. invitations, signage, etc.) as well as assist in the day to day business of running the department (trafficking, filing, etc.) Requirements: • Candidate should be a Graphic Arts/Design Major. Candidate also needs design, photo and type skills. Must have knowledge of InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop. Candidate should be well organized, detail orientated and a good communicator.
