GENERAL BRIEF: A client has requested the design of a house spread over two levels, which should also incorporate the design of the exterior space. As a group project, each team is required to produce the following: a research notebook, evidence of design development, sample boards, 2D/3D visuals, bespoke furniture piece and a model with relevant finished. The design team should visit the site and record pertinent first hand research. The completed project should incorporate a contemporary style, eco-friendly, which meets the needs of a professional couple with two young children. Three weeks into the project, the client will meet with each team to iron out any initial problems. At the initial consultations, the client requested/commented on the following: Lots of space & storage Recessed illuminated area Contemporary lighting solutions Clutter free Children to share a room Office required Garden ideas/exterior landscaping Research into grass roofing Heating research Suggested changes to internal structure if they will improve the end design concept Lighting plan – Interior & Exterior Room plans Colour ways

GENERAL BRIEF: A feasibility study is being commissioned for the renovation of the building on the south east corner of white street and sawmill street lane. The building is to become a puppetry centre and will be a cultural centre servicing artists, the local community and tourists It’s primary functions will be ; to house a fully functional puppetry company, devising, making and performing original work. to provide a regular programme of performances and seasonal workshops, of local productions and touring company’s. to provide training in carnival arts and puppetry as community art; for general interest and professional development. THE CENTRE REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SPACES Three or four offices A meeting room A puppet theatre with seating capacity of 50-100 Foyer/exhibition space Box office/merchandising/café or coffee dock Multipurpose room for workshops and meetings A construction workshop A set up /rehearsal area Toilet facilities and storage area
