Project ESTEEM: Meetings for Caregivers and People with Memory Loss Project ESTEEM (Early Stage Enrichment, Education, and Motivation) is an innovative information/support group for people with early stage memory loss. The program is unique in that both the person with dementia and a family member or friend attends. When Project ESTEEM meets, attendees split into groups. The friends and family discuss how to best help their loved ones, while those with dementia can talk and learn how to better cope with their diagnosis. Project Esteem is offered twice a year in the spring and in the fall. Eight meetings in each session. Spring sessions are offered during the evening, fall sessions are offered during the day.
