The crews in the America’s Cup needed clothing that could adapt throughout the differing temperatures of a day’s racing – whether it be the chill of the early morning start or grinding in the heat of the midday sun; they needed a core range of garments that responded to the environment and also changed with their bodies temperature. The Henri Lloyd Phase Change Collection features the Blaze Jacket, Atmosphere Jacket, Vapour Jacket and the Sensor T. Each of these products can be worn individually or with each other to provide you with a ‘Built-In Climate Control System’ from base and mid layer through to an outer shell.

These products draw on a technology that consists of temperature sensitive polymers. When the temperature falls, the polymers restrict the loss of heat and moisture to keep the wearer warm.
