Instructions & Tips for Successful Walmart.ca Item Upload 1. If you are a drop ship vendor, please load your inventory in Commerce Hub as soon as you receive this template so that the item will be in stock once it is published to the website. If you do not have your SKU ID, please contact your Fulfillment Account Specialist and they can provide this to you. 2. Any items on the template with the same Product Number # must have the same information in columns C-G, and K-P, only one Product Name, Short Description, and Description & Features will display for the ‘group’ of items on the website, therefore DO NOT include SKU specific details about the colour or size etc. for these attributes for example – George Girls Leggings – Small, the correct product name would be George Girls Leggings.

A grouped item will display on the website with variants for the customer to choose (example below). For items that vary by colour please note that you will also need to provide a swatch. Further details on this can be found in the image instructions document.

You can include details about the variations of your skus in the product description. Here is an example of a Comforter Set description. It outlines the different options available. The customer will make their choice based on the drop down options.

3. The sheet should NOT be renamed, even if you are not providing information for all the items in the sheet please do not change this, we will make the updates on our end. 4. Do NOT delete lines or manipulate the sheet in any way. Should you have an item you want to list on the website that is not on the sheet, please contact your CTA or Category Manager (CM). 5. Please do NOT hide columns on the spreadsheet as this will cause errors when uploading. 6. If you are a drop ship vendor, please load your inventory in Commerce Hub as soon as you receive this template so that the item will be instock once it is published to the website. There can be multiple tabs on the sheet (each tab represents a different category) please complete the items on each one. 8. Mandatory fields are hilighted in blue (below the headers), yellow is read only. 9. Only send back once it has been completed in full. Partially completed templates will be returned to you. 10. If there are assortment parents on the template, this is an error. Please do not enrich this item as we cannot list the Assortment parent on the website (only the children). In this case please put ASSORTMENT PARENT in the product name and put a note in the e-mail when you return the template. Make sure you include the CTA and CM in the e-mail.

11. Similar for old or discontinued items, please put DISCONTINUED in the Product Name field and also put a note in the e-mail when you send the template back. Make sure you include the CTA and CM in the e-mail. 12. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION - If you tab over or click on a cell with … as highlighted in yellow below, login window will pop up, please disregard this and hit cancel.

13. Only use the log in we provide in the image instructions for uploading into the portal, should you use a different log in, your images will not attach to your products correctly. 14. If cells are locked try the following: a. Close spread sheet b. Go to the original email received c. Save spread sheet on you PC d. Reopen and try again e. IF YOU TRY ALL THE FOLLOWING AND STILL CAN NOT EDIT PLEASE INFORM YOUR ITEM CONTENT REPRESENTATIVE. f. DO NOT RENAME THIS SHEET 15. Always use the drop down if provided on the spreadsheet. If you require a value that is not on the sheet, there are columns where you are able to indicate the value that you require. Currently there is one for Brand, Colour, Size and Character for Toys. With the exception of New Brand Request which is found in column E, New Size, Colour or Character Request can be found in the last columns on the sheet

Image and MSDS Sheet Upload Steps & Tip

1. Images for the website should be a minimum of 750 X 750 and should be saved in a JPG format. 2. Save your images using the full Product UPC Code and if uploading more than one image per product please append an underscore and a number to indicate if it is a secondary image for example 467283829382, 467283829382_1, 467283829382_2, 467283829382_3, 467283829382_4. If your UPC contains leading zeros please leave those out when naming the file, also do not put spaces in the filename. The order of how images appear on the website will be determined by the appended number (ie the image without any appended number will be the primary image – the image with the underscore 1 will be the 2nd image etc.. Image filenames have a character limit of 33, please use the naming convention we have outlined to ensure this is not exceeded. 3. If you are uploading a product that comes in multiple colours, it will require a swatch. Swatches will be scaled down to 30 x 30. Naming convention for this should be the UPC_swatch (for example 467283829382_swatch). If the same swatch can be used for more than one item, you can use the same file multiple times. Select Create a new swatch Browse your computer for the picture of the stack of sheets and upload Either pick a preset colour swatch or zoom in on your picture to select a swatch. Select download Save the file as per the naming instructions above

4. If you are uploading a sku that is a Hazardous Good, you will need to upload a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) sheet. Please name this sheet with the following naming convention UPC_MSDS (for example 467283829382_MSDS). The file format for this should be pdf.

5. Before you upload your images you will need to compress them into a ZIP file, this cannot be larger than 100MB, if it is you will need to split this into multiple zip files. To zip your images highlight all the files you want to compress and zip then right click, select Send to and compressed (zipped) folder

Once the files are zipped you will see a folder with a zipper on it – see screencap below (note the zip file name will just default to one of the file names within it – you do not need to change this)

6. Now log into the portal – please do not use Internet Explorer, we recommend using Firefox or Chrome. Access the Portal by clicking on this LINK https://portal.walmart.ca/index.html Login: WALMARTCA-VENDOR Password: welcome123

7. Once you have logged into the portal go to image and asset upload from the left hand navigation

8. Browse to select your zip folder that you just saved

9. Once you see your filename come up hit upload

10. Please wait a few seconds, you see a spinning wheel (see screencap below) and DO NOT exit the portal as the images have not completed uploading

11. Next you will see a background process open, this is just indicating the process and status of the upload

12. DO NOT CLOSE THIS SCREEN - Wait until the background process has completed as this will let you know if the images uploaded successfully or not. You must wait to see the status change from ‘waiting’ to succeeded as this indicates the upload completed. Make sure you check errors if any. *Should you have errors you need assistance with please contact your item content representative.

Filling out Image Information on the Template 1. On your bulk upload template there are 2 places you need put the primary image filename, the column’s are labeled Primary Image Asset Reference ID and are located in columns G & V. Do not put the file extension (ex. Jpg), just put the filename using the naming convention explained in step 2 above.

2. Secondary images go in the Secondary Image 1 Asset Reference ID, Secondary Image 2 Asset Reference ID etc. and only need to be entered once on the template. These fields start at column X.

3. If you have a swatch that you need to upload put the swatch filename in column AN titled Swatch Image Asset Reference ID

4. If you have a hazardous item you must put yes in column BJ, and put the filename for your MSDS sheet in column BM - MSDS Asset Reference ID

**If the above steps are not followed we may have issues linking your images to your products and will have to return the template to you for correction.
