Introduction Transition Networks‘ SISTP1010-380-LRT-B is an unmanaged PoE Industrial Ethernet Switch with power source equipment (PSE) function. It supports PoE, a system to transmit electrical power along with data to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network. The SISTP1010-380-LRT-B has eight 10/100/1000Base-T(X) PSE ports. A PSE is a device (switch or hub) that will provide power in a PoE setup. The wide operating temperature range from -40 to 70°C can satisfy most operating environments. Therefore, the switch is one of the most reliable choices for PoE applications. The SISTP1010-380-LRT-B can be used to connect several PoE PD Ethernet devices, such as IP Cameras or other devices. In addition, there are two independent power inputs on the terminal block for power redundancy. When the primary DC power input fails, the backup power source will take over immediately, ensuring continuous operation.

Applications Transition’s SISTP1010-380-LRT-B Industrial PoE switch is a High Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device providing Power-over-Ethernet over standard twisted pair cables in an Ethernet network. Operating from a wide-range 24-36VDC power input, the device is ideal for providing communications services onboard vehicles. Its extended operating temperature range of -40 to +70° C allows the switch to be located outside of environmentally conditioned passenger areas.
