• The Natural “N” series is a “True” Neutral. Our true Neutral “N” series gives better coverage with out having to add warmth to your formula. PRORITUALS uses the highest grade dyes available. Each tube contains these dyes at the maximum concentration for each level. This will give the colorist endless creative options for mixing and adding depth and brown to all other colors. • The Fundamental series gives a superb foundation for warmer tones and natural looking grey coverage. (Fundamental series has a pure Brown Natural Gold base) • The Goldens series “D” gives a bright foundation for red tones and brighter fashion colors. (Yellow Gold base) • Using PRORITUALS 20 - volume developer 1:1 will give 100% grey coverage with all tones. The result is slightly more translucent with incredible shine • Using PRORITUALS 15 - volume developer (1 part 10v. 1 part 20v.) is suggested for successful grey coverage on levels 8, 9, 10 and normal grey coverage. • Using PRORITUALS 10 - volume developer 1:1 will give 100% grey coverage to hair 30% grey or less with all tones. If no grey is present he result is slightly more opaque with incredible shine. Using 10 volume for grey coverage will minimize the amount of underlying pigment exposed minimizing “hot roots”. • When coloring hair that exceeds 50% grey it is suggested that you include the Natural series for (Neutral and Cool tones) as a brown background, the Fundamentals series for (warmer tones) more natural results, the Goldens series “D” for (brighter) coppers, reds and fashion colors. • When covering 70%-100% grey, it may be advantageous to drop 1 level on your choice of color to compensate for the absence of underlying pigment or background color. • For resistant grey add 1” ribbon of 10 Neutral (10 A) to your formulation to increase color penetration. • For resistant grey increase time to 45 min.. Additional heat from hood dryer, lamps or steamer is optional (cover hair with plastic cap, poke vent holes in cap when using heat source other than a steamer)

One Level Darker Addition of Booster

• To simultaneously color and decolorize hair with a percentage of grey 30% use DESIRED LEVEL. • For hair between 30% and 70% grey use the DESIRED LEVEL. • For hair with more than 70% grey use ONE LEVEL DARKER than the target. • 1” of 10 Neutral can be added to your formula. (This will boost the lift on resistant grey)

If the target color is a warm or fashion tone, no control is necessary. The underlying pigment will contribute brightness and vibrancy to the final result. If a natural tone is the desired color, simply use the appropriate counteracting color to control unwanted warmth (orange or gold). The result will be a more natural target color.

GREY COVERAGE LIFTING

Understanding background color Background color can be your natural color, the underlying pigment you create with lift, the background added to a shade by the manufacturer or the background you add to “pure tone” color. Dropping background color choice 1 level will give your final color result more depth and richness. When using true deposit only colors, the background is always a combination of the color you’re starting with or the natural hair color plus any background you add to the formula. Better grey coverage “N” Series Background is added to a formula to create depth and richness on white or salt and pepper hair. “Fundamentals” Background is added to a formula to create softer or more natural appearing colors on white or salt & pepper hair. Added tone to formula provides the visual color result. When mixing tonal colors to a Natural “N” series or the Fundamentals it is recommended to drop your level 1 shade for every 1/2 oz. of tone added. This will increase grey coverage for a better color result. Depth comes from the concentration of dye. Natural True (N) Fundamentals Pure Brown Base (1-10)

Goldens

Yellow Gold Base (D)

Peroxide / Developers also contributes to the amount of natural background color that you expose. The higher the volume the more natural background color or remaining pigment you have. Having natural exposed undertone or background color will require a deeper control tone to balance warmth. • The N series (TRUE NEUTRAL) Natural Rich Brown coverage (DEEP Coverage) • Fundamentals (Brown Natural Gold) Grey coverage with natural warm results (SOFT Coverage) • Goldens (Yellow Gold) Grey coverage base for bright reds and coppers. CORRECTORS INTENSIFY • REFINE • CONTROL • NEUTRALIZE The creative possibilities are endless in any hair color service • Enhance reds, coppers, and fashion shades • Use as a tool for corrective coloring • Use alone for a “Hint of Tint” or as a temporary color • Add to formulas to control unwanted undertones

Use as little as a 1 inch strip to ½ oz of the correctors into your formula • In darker levels of color more corrector may be recommended to intensify • In lighter levels of color or lightening hair less amounts of the corrector is suggested • When using of correctors or more, an equal amount of developer is required

Use for corrective color services

• Correctors Blue and green are created at base level 4 • Correctors Red and Yellow are created at base level 5 • Squeeze a generous amount of corrector in a gloved hand, mix with shampoo, and apply as a lather to wash out unwanted casts or refresh faded ends • A strand test is always recommended

Hint of Tint: Tint is a great way to add a color service in the salon. Use as a temporary color or a “Hint of Tint”. At the shampoo bowl, wet the client’s hair with warm water, select one of the PRORITUALS Correctors, squeeze a generous amount in your gloved hand and add 2-3 pumps of any PRORITUALS shampoo. Apply as a lather and let stand for 5 minutes. For more intense color, place under a medium dryer with a plastic cap for 10 minutes. Rinse, condition and continue with service. Hint of Tint is a great service for refreshing color between color services. Correctors

10A Neutral (Booster) PRORITUALS has created the perfect tool for the professional. 10A Neutral is an additive that can be added to blondes for an extra lift or can be used to create richer more vibrant reds, beautiful browns, and exceptional grey coverage. 10A Neutral assists in dispersing color molecules to help deposit more color when additional lift is needed. It does this by breaking down the melanin pigment faster than the color alone. 10A Neutral also will aid in resistant grey coverage and corrective color situations. 10A Neutral (Booster) is ideal for:

• Intensifying Reds, Browns, and Grey coverage. • For additional level of lift eliminating the need to pre-lighten. • To lighten bands from the hair due to single process retouches. • To lighten darkened ends from multi service applications. • To lift or decolorize tinted hair up to one level.

Mixing: 10A Neutral (Booster) is considered a hair color when mixing in formulas, additional developers may be required depending on amount used. • 1” strip up to 1/8 oz. (28g) in hair color formulas will enhance Reds, Browns and aid in Grey coverage. • 1/8 oz. (28g) or more. Add up to the equal amount of hair color to create more lifting action. • For maximum lift use equal amounts of 10 Neutral and desired hair color to produce one extra level of lift.

PRORITUALS 10A booster gives hair color that extra boost of lift and ability to open the hair shaft for delivering dyes to stubborn / resistant hair . The water we use to wash our hair contains all type of environmental factors that can make hair coloring results unpredictable. PRORITUALS 10A booster will help deliver our dyes deeper into hair that may have a buildup from the minerals from water. Using 10A booster will give your reds more pop and your blondes a extra boost of brightness. PRORITUALS 10A booster can also be used as a cocktail mix at the shampoo bowl. Add a 2 inch ribbon of 10A booster to your shampoo emulsify into hands and apply to damp hair at shampoo bowl for 3-5 minutes. This will help remove stubborn build up or put a bit of brightness into dull / drab or overly darkened hair.

By adding a small amount of re-pigment tone (anchor or foundation) to your formula you will discover your colors will hold proper tone, richness and shine even on cooler tones. PRORITUALS “N” series does not require added warmth. It is a true Neutral.
