The Intelligent Network in the World of Logistics – Sm@rt SEW – Production Logistics GOAL:  Autonomous transportation of goods in packaging units (transport boxes/pallets).  The packaging units are to be transported within the plant as well as from plant to plant.  The transport system is to interact with the other involved systems (i.e. the logistics assistant) autonomously in order to guarantee a smooth exchange of goods.  Indoor rides, outdoor rides, transport onto a truck/train/container will be possible. Cruising speed of up to 6km/h.  Manual loading and de-loading possible, communication with person possible.
