bulk Situated in the far end of the outer harbour, the ‘Diepwaterkaai’ (length 380 m) and the ‘Cockerillkaai’ (length 320 m) are equipped to handle bulk traffic and general cargo. The ‘Demey lock’ (length 124 m, width 17.5 m) gives way to two inner docks, ‘Vlotdok’ and ‘Houtdok’ (depth 6 m).

Those docks are equiped with all necessary facilities. A rail track runs on the eastern quayside of the ‘Houtdok’, making direct transfer from ship to rail possible. As the docks are connected to the inland waterways, they are easily accessible for barges.

Oostende is a medium-sized Belgian city, which has all the assets of a large town. In addition to its seaport.
All RORO sites have immediate access to the main road network in Oostende. The port area and terminals are connected to the international motorway E40 - A10 (less than 1 km).
Oostende is also home to an international freight and passenger airport. The Port of Oostende, welcomes every year some 20 cruises. There is an ideal connection with the hinterland by plane, by highway and by train.
Following RORO infrastructure is available: - 5 berths: including 2 double decks & 1 side loader
The cruise berth has direct access to the renovated station in the city centre.
