Gandhi Jayanti: On1st October’13 children may say few sentences on, “My Dear Bapuji” and a slide show on “Gandhi-Father of our nation” will be shown to the children during school hours.

FLOWER WEEK: Children of Sr.KG. will celebrate Flower week Monday 7th October’13 to Thursday 10th October’13. Children can share information with different materials on the topic to facilitate learning. Teachers will set up a project and a PowerPoint Presentation on flowers. Dassera Celebration: On Friday11th October ’13 children can come in dressed as flowers and say a few sentences on it. They can bring an incense stick and a flower for the Saraswati Pooja. Parents are cordially invited for Devi Darshan on11th October’ 13 between 12:00 Noon and 2:00 p.m. Venue: 1stfloor, Orion. Farm Buddies: Children of Jr.KG will celebrate farm buddies week from 14th October’13 to 18th October’13.Children can share information with different materials on the topic to facilitate learning. Roll Numbers 26 to 35 can share information related to the topic. Our Sea Friends: Children of Sr.KG will celebrate Our Sea Friends week from18th November’13 to 22nd November’13. Children can share information with different materials on the topic to facilitate learning. Teachers will present a puppet show on farm animals –Jr.KG. Seaanimals-Sr.KG. Roll Numbers 16 to20 can share information related to the topic. Grandparents Day: Grandparents Day will be celebrated on 22nd October’13 Grandparents are cordially invited. Venue: B N Vaidya Sabhagriha. Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Refer to the circular on Grandparents Day and follow instructions accordingly. Diwali Celebration: Diwali will be celebrated on Friday 25th October’13. Children will make colourful and attractive lanterns for diwali and decorate their classrooms Newspaper Reading: To encourage and abreast Sr.KG. children with the current news, children can get child friendly clipping from the newspaper. Procom Quiz Contest will be conducted on 2nd December’13 during school hours in school. Participants of the Colour’s Quiz should carry their art material. Quiz contest for Math, GK, English, Science, Computer, and Puzzle will be based as per the age group so participants can do preparations accordingly. Best of Luck!!!!!

Picnic Picnics for the kindergarten section have been arranged to park/garden on specific days as mention below. Parents should drop and pick up their wards from school as bus service is not available on the day of the picnic. Children coming for the picnic should come to school at 9:00 am sharp and carry My Dairy , a small water bottle , snacks, napkin,& a sheet of old news paper. Parents can pick their wards at 12:00 noon from the respective classrooms. Class Sr.KG

Do’s & Don'ts While Bursting Crackers Do’s         

Use fireworks only under ADULT SUPERVISION. Buy fireworks of authorized/reputed manufacturers only. Light only one firework at a time, by one person. Others should watch from a safe distance. Keep the fireworks to be used at a safer place. Organize a community display of fireworks rather than individuals handling crackers. Always use a long candle/'phooljhari' for igniting fire crackers and keep elbow joint straight to increase the distance between the body and the crackers. Keep two buckets of water handy. In the event of fire, extinguish flame by pouring water from the buckets. Every major fire is small when it starts. In case of burns, pour large quantity of water on the burnt area. In case of major burns, after extinguishing the fire, remove all smoldering clothes. Wrap the victim in a clean bed sheet. Don't panic and take the victim to a hospital.

Don't bend over the fireworks being ignited Don't approach immediately to the misfired fireworks. Don't tamper with misfired fireworks. Don't carry fireworks in the pocket. Don't store firecrackers near burning candles and diyas. Don't wear synthetic clothing; preferably wear thick cotton clothing. Don't wear loosely hanging clothes; secure all clothes properly. Don't apply any cream or ointment or oil on burnt area.

All mishaps due to fireworks occur as a result of carelessness, negligence and ignorance. Simple precautions can help avoid these mishaps.

To leave the participants to the Class teacher in the respective classroom by 8:45 am. The students should be ready with the necessary accessories and complete make up. Parents will not be allowed to dress their children in the class. 2. Grandparents to be seated in the auditorium by 9:45 am sharp. 3. Not to use Gate Nos. 1 and 2 of the hall for entry or exit but to use only the main gate of the hall. 4. To maintain complete silence and discipline in the auditorium throughout the programme. 5. Not to leave their seats and move about in the gangway in the auditorium during the programme. 6. To wait till the end of the programme. 7. To pick up their wards only after the Programme from their respective class teachers from their respective classes. 8. Grandparents are requested to keep their mobile on silence mode during the programme. 9. No photograph or shooting will be allowed as the School has organized for the same. 10.
