Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science invites Sealed Tenders ( single bid system ) for purchasing materials for Carpentry section for day to day repairing & Maintenance work of Wooden accessories & furnitures as details given below . Complete tender bids should reach the Registrar, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, 2A & 2B, Raja S C Mullick Road, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700032, West Bengal, India, on or before the scheduled date & time specified below to our dispatch section:
Detail of Tender Venue: Cost of Tender Tender paper may be purchased from Workshop/IACS, Form Jadavpur against payment of Rs.150/-(Rupees One Hundred & Fifty only) per set (non-refundable) in cash. Otherwise it can be down loaded from our web site ( www.iacs.res.in ) in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order or Banker’s Cheque of a scheduled bank in favour of “Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science”, payable at Kolkata, with their tender or their tender will be summarily be rejected. Estimated Cost Rs.158659/-(Rupees One Lakh Fifty Eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Nine only) Earnest Money The Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.3173/- (Rupees Three Deposit Thousand one Hundred Seventy Three only) to be submitted with the tender in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order or Banker’s Cheque of a scheduled bank in favour of “Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science” payable at Kolkata, failing which the tender shall be summarily be rejected Tender issue 05-10-2016 to 25-10-2016 date

2. Terms & Conditions a) Incomplete & Conditional quotation & quotations received after due date will be summarily rejected without assigning reasons thereof. b) The outer cover of the envelop should be super scribed as “ Quotation for Purchase of Hitachi make compressor , Tender No. , last date of Submission , due date of opening etc. c) The quotation submitted shall remain valid at least 45 days. from the date of opening the quotation . d) The rate should be inclusive all taxes , transportation etc. ( as per our Price bid format ) . Nothing extra will be paid in addition to the quotated rate . Price should quotated in Indian Rupee. f) In the event of date being declared a closed holiday for purchaser’s office, the due date for submission of quotation & its opening will be the following working day at the appointed time . g) Payment : Within 30 days from the date of bill submission. h) Acceptance of Quotation : IACS authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest quotation & reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason thereof in the interest of IACS . . i) Installation / Demonstration etc. to be done against free of cost. j) Supplier should provide copy of PAN No. , VAT No. , Service Tax No. & Trade Licence No. ete. along with sealed quotation without which the tender will summarily be rejected. k) Validity of Quotations beyond 45 months from the date of opening of the quotation shall be by mutual consent . l) Price bid & Technical bid to be submitted in two separate envelopes without which the tender will summarily be rejected. m) The EMD shall be treated as part of the Security Deposit for the successful bidder. Refund of EMD will be given along with payment of bill.
n) The EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them after expiry of the final bid validity. o) Liquidated damage for delay in supply will be imposed upon the supplier @ 1% of the purchase order value per week or part there off subject to a maximum of 5% of the purchase order value. p) Free delivery to the Workshop Store, IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata – 700032 q) in case of any holiday on the date of submission of quotation, the next working day will be the date of submission of tender.
