Introduction A lot of thought has gone into the assembly and presentation of this wine list. A wine list should first of all be consumer friendly and this is what we're trying to achieve. All our wines are stored in a temperature controlled environment and do not hesitate to ask if you would like to have your wine decanted. The Wine list is divided by colour and country, with all the regions and grapes highlighted near each wine. We have highly trained staff which will be more than welcome to assist you in your choice of wine which will go on to compliment the food. Thank you and hope you enjoy your meal. 2|Page

Maltese White Wines Wine production in Malta has been going on for centuries, however in the last years we have seen a surge in professionalism and the quality has increased enormously. Maltese wines have taken the best of both worlds, reflecting the old world character of terroir while using a varietal style, making it consumer friendly as well.

French White Wines Despite the difficulties caused by the wave of exciting wines from the New World, this is the one country that no one interested in wine can possibly ignore. This is ‘the mecca’ for wine where the various grape varieties have had a natural selection and acclimatisation to the territory for hundreds of years. Spanish White Wines If you feel that New World wines are too 'modern' for you than try Spain. Spain's wines have a character of their own and most of the regions are seeing a renaissance with the modern techniques being adapted, however still retaining their classic charm and style. Italian White Wines The hundreds of different wine varietals still in use in the various regions of Italy make it mind boggling and interesting at the same time. The extensive latitudinal range of the country permits various wine styles from the Alps in the north producing aromatic mineral whites like Ribolla Gialla to almost-within-sight of Africa in the south, the fruitiness and food friendly Insolia. Ribolla Gialla €28.00 Vigne di Zamo Friuli Venezia Giulia Gavi La Scolca (Cortese) €22.00 La Scolca Piedmont Pinot Grigio Guerrieri Rizzardi Veneto Costeggiola (Single Vineyard Soave, Garganega) €23.50 Guerrieri Rizzardi Veneto Vermentino Blu €19.00 Santa Maria la Palma Sardegna Leon D'Almerita ( Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer) €25.50 Tasca D' Almerita Sicily

New World White Wines New World generally placed less sanctity on the pre-eminence of ‘terroir’, and more on the preservation of varietal fruit character in their wines, believing that the appropriate harnessing of scientific and technological best practices in the vineyard and in the winery could iron out any ‘terroir’ imperfections. That is the theory, and while retaining certain truisms, today the dividing line is more blurred, as New World wine producers discover ‘terroir’ and Old World producers discover ‘fruit’. The choice is yours and the best wine is the wine you like. Rosé Wines The good thing about rose is that it tends to suit most dishes. From the food friendly Provence wine to the fruity and fresh character of a Gozitan Grenache. This is a small but good choice which makes up with quality what it doesn't have in quantity. Odyssey Rose (Gernache) €14.00 Marsovin Malta Chateau Rotior (Grenache) €22.95 Mont Redon Provence, France Regaleali Le Rose (Nerello Mascalese) €23.50 Tasca D'Almerita Sicily, Italy

Maltese Red Wines Blessed by the sun, the future of Maltese wines is surely in full bodied red wines like Merlot and Syrah. Both on their own or part of a blend, Maltese reds have a structure which makes them round and palatable, surely matching well with stews or a nice piece of grilled red meat. French Red Wines French reds give an ample spectrum of varietals and styles that few other countries are able to do well. If you would like to go for a light bodied red, we can suggest a Fleurie from Beaujolais, for a medium rounded wine we recommend a Bordeaux or if you'd like a full bodied strong red, a wine from the Rhone never disappoints. Moreau Syrah VDP Moreau Languedoc Roussillon Chateau de Belair Lalande (Merlot & Cabernet Franc) €33.00 Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux Chateau Puy Blanquet (Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon) €29.00 St.Emilion Gran Cru, Bordeaux Chateau de Carles ( Merlot & Cabernet Franc) €30.00 Fronsac, Bordeaux Fleurie (Gamay) €25.00 Beaujolais, Burgundy Georges Duboeuf Pommard Les Vaumuriens (Pinot Noir) €23.50 Burgundy Domaine Faiveley Parallele 45 ( Grenache & Syrah) €21.95 Rhone Valley P. Spanish Red Wines There is nothing more good value than Spanish reds. This is one of the best selections for quality, price ratio. Most of the Spanish reds are full bodied with good amounts of red fruits on the palate. Decanting is recommended. New World Red Wines In the New World red wine section we are presenting the most typical grape from each country. Most of the New World countries tend to produce slightly more alcoholic and fruitier wines. In this instance the fruitiness of the wines are given more importance than their link to the land. Late Harvest & Sweet Wines Sweet wines can be a nice alternative to a liquor or digestif and tend to compliment the food rather well. Sweet wines tend to be quite filling due to their high sugar content, hence not more than 2 glasses per person are recommended. Dolce Vita (Blend of Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc & Viognier) €17.50 Camilleri Wines Malta Guze Passito Shiraz (Shiraz) €34.00 Marsovin Malta Tokaj Aszu €42.00 Hetzolo Hungary Capofaro (Malvasia) €55.00 Tasca D'almerita Sicily, Italy Vendimia Tardia Riesling (Late Harvest Riesling) €22.75 Torres Chile Moscata D’Asti Nivole €20.00 Michele Chiarlo Italy Eiswein Valckenberg, (Riesling) €34.00 Rheinhessen, Germany
