3rd-Phase Construction will enable Incheon Airport to meet future aviation demand increases and improve our competitive footing vis-a-vis other airports in the region. With an investment of KRW 4.9 trillion by 2017, 3rd-Phase Construction includes construction of the 2nd Passenger Terminal, expansion of the Cargo Terminal, aircraft aprons 22 + 23

and access transportation facilities and 2nd-phase expansion of the Airport Logistics Park.

Becoming Northeast Asia’s Undisputed Hub Airport Once completed, 3rd-Phase Construction will boost Incheon Airport’s annual handling capacity from 44 million to 62 million passengers and from 4.5 million tons to 5.8 million tons of cargo, commensurate with our stature as Northeast Asia’s premier hub airport. In addition, 3rd-Phase Construction is forecast to generate 93,000 new jobs, KRW 12.3 trillion in production-inducement effect, and KRW 4.8 trillion in value-added creation.
