ABOUT KRAKOW Known to be one of the most picturesque cities in Europe it’s no wonder that 10 million tourists visit this city each year. It’s also known to have some of the best nightlife in Europe, with a large plethora of bars and clubs open all hours. What’s more seeing as it isn’t yet on the Euro the prices are dirt cheap, currently about 1,20 GBP for a beer! That said, with unlimited beer pitchside and open bar in certain venues you shouldn’t need to spend much at all.

GETTING HERE Krakow is probably not as far as you think with an average flight time of roughly 2,5 hours from the UK. Krakow airport is well served by a number of low cost airlines, and if you can’t find flights to Krakow then Katowice is also in close proximity to Krakow and we can easily arrange transfers to and from here. Match Length - 7 minutes each half No. Of Players - 10 aside Group Stage - Each team plays each other once with the games taking place on the first day and the morning of the second day. Second Round - At the completion of the group stage, teams will take part in a further two playoff matches to determine their final placing. The final will take place at 16:00 on the Sunday.

PARTIES Friday 23rd June On the first night after registering for the tournament you’ll enjoy a great opening party with an OPEN BAR with all the beer you can drink (for those taking the allinclusive package) at a top central nightspot. There will also be live music provided by a top local band. It’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Saturday 24th June After the first day’s rugby you will head back to the accommodation to get your glad rags on before heading to the gala dinner in the centre of Krakow. This takes place at a top restaurant right on the main market square where you’ll enjoy top food and of course a few beers to loosen up the vocal chords before singing those all-important tour songs.

Sunday 25th June After the completion of the tournament and the trophy presentations you’ll have a chance to enjoy another party pitchside until 22:00 where you’ll have the chance to play a few drinking games as well.

Arrive in Krakow where you will be greeted at the airport and taken by private bus to your accommodation (*only for groups taking the accommodation package with us) Opening party with open bar for beer, live music and open bar for those taking the all-inclusive package.

Breakfast served until 10:00am before you are given a transfer to the tournament venue (*only for groups taking the accommodation package with us). Matches take place from 11am and last approximately eight hours. Huge gala dinner in the centre of Krakow in a trendy restaurant on the market square. Plenty of food and beer!

2* hotel The building of the hotel is located in the city centre near the National Museum and only 5 mins walk from Juvenia stadium. It is also within a walking distance to all major sights of the city, including the Main Market with its famous nightlife, which makes it a great accommodation choice for KRF 2017 edition. ROOMS There are over 80 rooms (single, double and triple ones) with private bathrooms. DINING On the premises of the hotel there is a canteen where you can have breakfast, dinner and supper. There is also a café.

Sightseeing Options a. Krakow walking sightseeing tour, e.g: The Royal Route

The Royal Route is one of the most popular and most important routes for Krakow sightseeing. During the tour you will follow Polish kings’ footsteps through the way of the coronation processions. Sightseeing begins at the Matejko Square, in front of the St. Florian Church, where the city authorities and Rector of the Jagiellonian University greeted the king. Subsequently the monarch was accompanied by his subjects to the city through St. Florian’s Gate and then St. Florian’s Street, Market Square, Grodzka Street and Kanonicza Street and finally reached his headquarters on Wawel Hill. In short, the road leads through the most beautiful parts of the Old Town where you’ll see all the major monuments. b. Wieliczka Salt Mine is located in the town of Wieliczka which is a short drive from Krakow. The mine was built in the 13th century and produced salt continuously until 2007. Nowadays the mine is purely a tourist attraction, with an underground museum, various salt sculptures, a lake, and even a gigantic chapel which is whole curved in salt. Inside the mine there are some spectacular photo opportunities, and the guides are knowledgeable and will keep you entertained with information and anecdotes about the mine and its history. Estimated sightseeing time with transfers: 3,5 h Included: licensed English speaking tour guide, entry fees Hints: it is Unesco listed as one of the TOP attractions in Poland. The sightseeing route goes as low as over 100m below surface, while the deepest parts going as low as 300m below the ground level. Price: 26 GBP/pp

Whilst it may not be the usual ‘fun’ activity for a sports tour, Auschwitz is something you simply cannot miss when located so close. You’ll visit both camps - Auschwitz and Birkenau, where an estimated 1.5 million people were killed, with English speaking guides describing the chilling events that took place there.
