On management files When you insert a "Memory Stick Duo" without a management file into the camera and turn on the power, parl of the "Memo U Stick Duo" capacity is used to automatically create a management file. It may take some time until you can perform the next operation.

Notes on recording/playback • Before you start rccordiug, make a trial recording to make sure that the camera is working correctly. • The camera is neither dust-proof, nor splashproof, nor water-proof. Read "Precautions" (page 53) before operating the camera. • Avoid exposing the camera to water. If water enters inside the camera, a malfunction may OCCllr. Notes on the LCD screen • The LCD scrcen is manufactured using extremely high-precision technology so over 99.99c_ of the pixels are operational for effective use. However, some tiny black and/ or bright dots (white, red, blue or green) may appear on the LCD screen. Es posible que lleve alg6n tiempo hasta que pueda realizar la siguieute operacidn.

Notas sobre la grabacibn/ reproduccibn • Antes de comenz:_tr a grabar, haga un:t grabaci6u a modo de prueba para asegurarse de que la c:hnara est:i funciouando correctameute. • La c_hnara no est_i hecha a prueba de polvo, ni a prueba de salpicaduras, ni a prueba de agua. Sin embargo, es posible que aparezcan alguuos puntos diminutos negros y/o brillantes (blancos, mjos, azules o verdes) en la pantalla LCD. Estos puntos sou un resultado normal del proceso de fabricacidu, y no afcctan a la grabacidn. • Si salpica agua u otros lfquidos a la pantalla LCD y se moja, seque iumediatamente la pantalla con un patio suave.
