Job Summary:
As one of vInspired Schools Coordinators, your role will be to deliver our range of programmes designed for young people in schools and colleges. These will include although will not be limited to our leadership and social action project management programmes. In addition you will promote other programmes, products and services to schools and colleges across North England. You will deliver engaging workshops and directly support students in schools and colleges to increase the number of students participating in volunteering and social action. You will ensure that students get the most from taking part and that students and staff are left with the skills, knowledge, and desire to engage in social action in the future. You will also develop new partnerships with individual schools and colleges, as well as other strategic partners to ensure that the programme can continue to grow.
Specific Duties:
Design and deliver training within schools and colleges which includes but is not limited to leadership and project management
Design and deliver workshops and sessions to young people to engage them in the social action and volunteering
Design and deliver presentations and workshops to key staff to promote vInspired’s products and services
Ensure all training is delivered to high quality and monitored effectively
Directly support groups of students to plan and run activities to engage their peers in social action and volunteering
Support students to plan school projects and events connected to a national issue based campaign (e.g. homelessness or mental health)
Promotion of vInspired’s programmes, products and services within schools and colleges
Proactively develop and maintain successful relationships with schools and colleges in agreed locations
Support vInspired’s delivery of National Citizens Service (NCS) in the North East by building/enhancing links with schools and colleges and tailoring the schools programme to provide pre and post NCS support
Manage and develop strategic partnerships to grow the number of schools and colleges signing up to vInspired's online services
Facilitate sharing of activity and good practice between schools and colleges
Manage budgets and resources as required
Support the development of relationships with potential future funders and contribute to funding bids and presentations
Support the design and lead on the execution of our programme evaluation within you partner schools by ensuring that data is effectively gathered and survey response rates are high
Promote programmes and sell them to schools as well as contribute to funding bids Attend and present at conferences, networking and events as required
Provide regular reporting to line manager on achievement of targets
Maintain paper and electronic files for the management and monitoring of activities, ensuring compliance with audit procedures and Data Protection Act

Contribute as required to the wider work of vInspired
