IMI Diploma in Regulatory Management

Overview

Programme Outcomes

The current economic situation creates unprecedented challenges for those working in a regulatory environment. While many of the challenges are technical in nature, requiring detailed and complex knowledge of the regulatory process, equally many challenges relate to management. Those charged with managing in the regulatory environment face the highest of expectations and are subject to the closest of scrutiny against the highest professional standards. This creates a unique pressure - a pressure that can have a dramatic impact both on those that lead and on those being led. The IMI Diploma in Regulatory Management is a nationally accredited and internationally recognised programme that provides participants with the management skills to function optimally in a regulatory environment by building and enhancing professional competencies across a broad range of relevant organisational areas. By bringing together participants from different regulatory agencies, this programme will provide a real and meaningful opportunity to learn about the different challenges faced by peers across a variety of arenas.

• Marketing Strategy with Digital Marketing • Organisational Behaviour • Data Business

Due to similarities in certain subject themes it is not possible to combine the IMI Diploma in Cloud Strategy with the IMI Diploma in Strategy and Innovation as a pathway towards earning the Master of Business. All other programme combinations can act as a pathway towards the MoB. The IMI Diploma in Regulatory Management is aimed at managers working in the regulatory environment only.

How does it work?

The MoB philosophy

Step 1: Successfully complete any one of the IMI’s suite of eleven IMI Diploma programmes. Step 2: Successfully complete a second IMI Diploma of your choosing. Step 3: Successfully complete the IMI Business Research Project. ...And you’re there!

Unlike traditional MBAs and Business Masters, the IMI’s MoB is driven by an intensely practical, action learning philosophy. Throughout the MoB, classroom learning is applied to real-life business challenges via exercises, group work, case studies and projects that centre on both your day-to-day work and the challenges currently facing your organisation. Both you and your organisation will derive genuine real-world benefit from your participation.

Timeframe

Who is eligible?

A key feature of the Master of Business (MoB) is its flexible timeframe, which allows you to tailor your participation around work/life demands. Whereas each of the three MoB steps takes approximately six months to complete, you have a five year window within which to complete all three steps and attain the MoB.

If you have earned a Level 9 award from another academic institution, or if you completed an IMI Diploma since October 2009, you may be considered eligible to proceed directly to the second stage of the MoB. Contact [email protected] to clarify your status.

Therefore, depending on your preference, you can complete the MoB in two years, or within up to five years.
