Admission Prices General Admission Discount Ticket

$ 5.00 per day $ 4.00 per day Senior citizents, students in grades 1-6 and students in grades 7-12 with an activity card may purchase the discount ticket. Children under 6 admitted free.

Admission — Team Personnel Coaches participating in the tournament will gain admission with a tournament pass issued by the tournament manager. Note: The participating coach’s regular IHSAA activity card will allow only ONE ADMISSION to each session. One manager, one statistician and one ball handler and eighteen players will receive tournament passes. All other team support members must purchase tickets unless the principal / administrator of that school arranges for their admission by signing the special form at the admission gate. The school will be invoiced later for additional admissions. Number of Players Each school represented at the tournament may have eighteen players in uniform at the start of competition. If more than eighteen players are in uniform at the start of competition, the game shall be forfeited. Game Balls The game balls must display the NFHS Authenticating mark. It shall be the responsibility of each team to provide the game ball for each game in which they are a participating team. The home team (top team on the bracket) will provide two game balls and the visiting team (bottom team on the bracket) will provide one game ball. The teams shall provide the referee with the game balls 15 minutes prior to the start of the contest. Official Rules National Federation rules will be used for all Idaho soccer games. Officials All officials will be provided by the IHSAA. The officials shall be a single referee and two assistant referees and will be assisted by at least two ball holders, located at each end of the field. Pre-Tournament Practice Traveling teams who wish to practice in the locale of the state tournament should contact the tournament manager for a site and time. Protests The IHSAA Board of Directors does not recognize protests of sports officials’ decisions. Correction of errors can only be handled in accordance with the National Federation rules. Tie Games A. Regular season games that are tied at the end of 80 minutes of play will remain tied unless the league, conference or district has approved a policy to break ties according to NFHS rules. B. District, state or play-off games that are tied at the end of 80 minutes of play will be resolved by the following procedures: 1. Two (2) sudden death (10) ten minute overtimes will be played. If the game is still tied after the (2) 10 minute overtime periods, kicks from the penalty mark with five (5) members from each team alternating kicks. After all five (5) members from each team completes their penalty kick, the team with the most goals will be declared the winner. If the game still remains tied, the coach will select five (5) different players than the first five (5) who have already kicked, to take kicks in sudden victory situations wherein if one team scores and the other team does not score, the game is ended without more kicks being taken. 2.

If the score remains a tie, continue the sudden victory kicks with the coach selecting any five (5) players to take the next set of alternating kicks. If the score still remains tied, repeat this last procedure.

Warm-up Time Between Games Teams will have at least twenty minutes of warm-up time between games. Because of facility constraints, the time schedule will be adhered to as close as possible. Home Team / Team Benches Bring two sets of jerseys, stockings and your practice soccer balls. The team in the top bracket shall be the “home” team. The home team will wear light jerseys and will be assigned to the right side of the scorer’s table (as you face it). Both teams and coaches areas are on the same side of the field.

All-Tournament Teams The IHSAA is philosophically opposed to all-tournament team selections. If the media wishes to conduct a poll, that is no concern of ours, but we do not want to condone it by announcing it at the tournament. Awards Trophies will be awarded to first, second, third, and fourth place teams. Medals will be awarded to members of the Champion and Runner-up teams. The presentation of awards will be as follows: The fourth place and third place trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of those games. The second place and championship trophies will be presented at the conclusion of the championship game. Crowd Control The IHSAA expects close supervision of students and adult fans at state tournaments and asks for the continued support and cooperation of administrators in enforcing the following rules: 1. No one other than authorized individuals will be allowed on the field or in restricted areas. 2. Persons who enter the field or restricted areas will be removed from the premises for the remainder of the tournament. Dressing Rooms Dressing rooms are unavailable and will not be provided. Teams need to dress at home or in their motel rooms. Litter Teams are responsible for picking up litter from the team and coaching area. Schools should assist the tournament manager in keeping facilities clean by supervising spectator sections. Lost and Found The lost and found will be at the tournament manager’s office. Media Credentials Members of the media should use their own media credentials for entrance to the tournament. For those who do not have such credentials, media passes may be requested from the IHSAA or tournament manager. National Anthem The National Anthem will be played at the start of Session I and prior to the state championship game. Sportsmanship Rules Noisemakers Artificial noisemakers such as bells, whistles, air horns, megaphones and balloons are prohibited. Each school is responsible for the conduct of its students, and with cooperation we can ensure that all teams play in a fair, sportsmanlike atmosphere. Signs Signs and banners will be limited to the area in front of each school’s cheering section. Please do not tape signs to painted surfaces. Posters and/or banners must show only positive support. Those which direct negative comments towards opponents or are unsportsmanlike or vulgar are not permitted. Face Painting Full face painting is not permitted. Partial face painting is permitted such as small markings on the cheeks, nose or forehead. Attire Bare chests are not permitted. Shirts must be worn. Programs The composition, printing and selling of programs is the responsibility of the IHSAA. Each team will receive two complimentary programs from the IHSAA. Rosters and Team Pictures Team rosters and regular season scores may be submitted via our on-line, interactive form at idhsaa.org. Please send pictures as an attachment to an e-mail message as a high quality TIFF or JPG image to [email protected]. Do not submit hard copies of rosters or scores. On-line rosters should be entered and all pictures received by 4:00 P.M., October 12 to insure placement in the program. T-Shirts T-shirts will be sold at the tournament sites by McU Sports. Towels Towels will not be provided at the tournament. Teams should make arrangements to bring their own towels.
