Exlfilm® Shrink Film Manufactured by IPG® for the most demanding markets Intertape Polymer Group® began producing polyolefin shrink film in 1993. Over the past 23 years, we have been shrink wrapping products throughout the world with films produced at our manufacturing sites in the US and Portugal.

Porto, Portugal

Utah Manufacturing Plant In February 2013, IPG® consolidated its North American shrink film production into one facility in Tremonton, Utah. This multi-million dollar expansion in extrusion, converting and warehousing positions IPG® to grow with our North American partners for years to come. Continued capital expenditure and product development, within this world class facility, maintains the position of IPG® and the Exlfim® line as world leaders in shrink film performance technology.

Exlfilm® shrink films are produced in a world class facility which operates under stringent ISO manufacturing practices and is certified to internationally recognized GFSI.

Exlfilm® Markets

Exlfilm® QSL and Exlfilm® HSP are polyolefin shrink films engineered to make your packaging look its absolute best, while providing unmatched value, versatility and durability.

Pizza, High Speed Food Processors, Printers, CDs, DVDs, Gifts

Exlfilmplus®

Exlfilmplus® Markets

Exlfilmplus® films are crosslinked. The “plus” of crosslinking provides customers with a stronger film capable of working on a wider variety of equipment and sealing systems.

Multipacking, Club Store Presentations, Pizza, Games, Printers, Consumer Products, Air Filters, Gifts, Automotive, Wood Products, Metals

Crosslinking Technology • Prevention of Buildup

on wires and knives during sealing

• Prevention of Film Burn-Through in heat tunnels

• Increased Film Toughness on the finished package

BENEFITS

This innovative technique makes Exlfilmplus® Shrink Films one of the toughest and most versatile on the market. This is because the polymer chains are permanently bound into a network, significantly increasing their heat stability and strength. Our films have an inherently greater window of seal and shrink performance at a broader range of temperatures.

In Crosslinking Technology, bonds are created where molecules crosslink, resulting in a much stronger film.

Key Performance Features

GLOBAL PERFORMANCE LITE SHRINK FILM

• High Yield • Wide Operating Window • Minimal Shrink Force

Exlfilmplus® GPL, available in 35, 42, and 55 gauge, is the latest high performance, crosslinked polyolefin shrink film from IPG®. Exlfilmplus® GPL provides customers superior machinability, clarity and cost savings through higher yield. Exlfilmplus® GPL’s unique shrink characteristics make it the ideal choice for both general use and light force applications for printers, bakeries and such.

• Excellent Machinability

Exlfilmplus® GPL lowered our cost per package as we moved from 45 gauge to IPG’s new 35 gauge. GPL runs on our older equipment as well as the heavier gauge films. The film does not curl or bend our short stack packages.

• Superior Clarity and Gloss
