We manufacture a wide range of detergents and disinfectants. ITRAM HIGIENE’s BioFinder can quickly and effectively detect biofilms in open surfaces and make an accurate real-time diagnosis.

The presence of biofilms in the food industry is the main cause of contamination in the final product. Biofilms can be found in any environment where bacteria exist. A hydrated environment and a minimum amount of nutrients is sufficient for them to develop. BIOFINDER is an innovative product to effectively detect the presence of biofilms on surfaces where food or pharmaceutical products are handled. It helps you carry out fast and convenient hygiene

controls. Anticipation will definitely prevent a lot of contamination problems. Biofinder is also a useful tool to validate correct hygiene procedures in production sites. Once a biofilm is detected, our technical department determines a series of cleaning protocols which combine the removal of the biofilm, an enzimatic treatment and a disinfection process.

REMOVAL OF BIOFILMS Over the last few years our research has focused on the study or biofilms.

We have studied the structure of biofilms and how they can be removed. As a result of our research, ITRAM HIGIENE’s products distinguish themselves from the traditional solutions used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, because we offer a range of enzyme based products which are the most effective solution for the removal of biofilms. The enzymes used in our range of products work specifically on extracellular polymeric substances (EPS), which form the structure of the biofilm, degrading it and enabling the detergent to remove it and thus the following disinfection stage reaches the exposed bacteria and eliminates them.

Environmentally friendly products

ITRAM CLEANING EQUIPMENTS We provide modern and innovative application and dosage systems as well as systems to control hygiene processes. We work closely with expert manufacturers, therefore enabling us to offer our customers equipment which has been specifically designed and developed to be implemented in the cleaning of the food industry. Our cleaning products and services include cleaning foaming equipment, lubrication systems for conveyors in bottling plants, nebulizers for aerial disinfection, automated dosage systems and monitoring of processes, among others. A contract with the Danish manufacturer FOAMICO allows us to offer our customers low pressure and foaming cleaning systems equipped with state-of-the-art technologies.

We provide mobile and main stations, manual and automatic equipment, process automation and custom-made solutions.

VIKAN CLEANING IMPLEMENTS To complement our offer in food hygiene and safety, we import Vikan’s cleaning implements.

Vikan’s products are based on the needs of their customers. They are designed to incorporate effectiveness, ergonomy, design and safety in one single product. The usage of colour-coded cleaning tools minimizes the risk of cross contamination and contributes to a better organisation of the cleaning procedures in the different areas of the company.

SCH HYGIENE CONTROL SENSORS SCH, a new approach to the control of microbial contamination on surfaces.

SCH hygiene control sensors represent an innovative solution for the control of microbial contamination on surfaces and are a quick, simple, inexpensive and reliable solution for the microbial monitoring of surfaces in pharmaceutical or food production sites They also make the documentation process concerning the quality and safety of the products much easier. SCH sensors have become a simple and effective alternative to the traditional methods used to detect biofilms. Sample drawing is easy and offers quick results as the process can be carried out in the customer’s laboratory.
