HOW TO ENTER HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW ONLINE Show Jumping Exhibitor LOG IN Go to www.grandstandentries.com Log in using your existing log in details If you have forgotten your log in details email [email protected] or if you have never competed at HOYS before, please register online at www.grandstandentries.com/preregister as a Show Jumping Exhibitor. FINDING A USER ID FOR AN EXISTING USER OR HORSE PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT FOR A RIDER, OWNER OR HORSE WHICH ALREADY EXISTS ON THE SYSTEM, INSTEAD PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS TO FIND USER IDS. CREATING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS MAY INVALIDATE YOUR ABILITY TO ENTER HOYS CLASSES!

If you think that your Horse, Owner or Rider may already exist on the system please go to ‘My Entries’ and then ‘Search User IDs’, where you will be able to search the system for an existing User ID. If after searching you discover that the Rider, Owner or Horse does not already exist, then you can add a new Horse in ‘My Horses’, a new owner in ‘My Owners’ or a new rider in ‘My Riders’. FINDING YOUR OWN USER ID

To find your own User ID go to ‘My Details’, where your User ID will be displayed in the top left-hand corner.

CREATING/ UPDATING YOUR ACCOUNT

Once you have successfully logged in Fill in and save: ‘My Details’ These are the exhibitor details; this is the person who is in charge of all your entries and must be over 16. The address and email address listed in here is the main contact and all correspondence for the show will be sent to. ‘My Horses’ These are the horse/s you are entering ‘My Owners’ These are the owner/s related to your horses ‘My Riders’ These are the rider/s for your entry; remember to fill in their DOB if under 25 For each section fill in which member they are a society too and their membership number. Once complete go back into ‘My Horses’ and attached the relevant ‘My Owners’ and ‘My Riders’ to associate them directly to that horse. MAKING AN ENTRY Once your records are complete go to ‘My Entries’ and Select Show Jumping Classes to Enter’

One entry at a time

Select a Show (Horse of the Year Show) Select a Rider (this drops down the riders listed in ‘My Riders’) Select a Horse (This drops down the horses listed in ‘My Horses’) Select the class/es you have qualified to enter

Press Save ‘Go to Entries’ This now lists your entry in ‘Enter SJ Classes’ If you need to add another entry just click the top left hand corner basket ‘add more entries’ and follow the same process. STABLING & PASSES When you have selected the class/es you want to enter go to ‘Enter SJ Classes’, select ‘Horse of the Year Show’ and this will display all your entries.

One entry at a time select the show you qualified at and then tick if you would like to book stabling and/or extra passes for that horse. Select the shopping basket in line with that entry. You can now select you stabling by selecting, day and type required for that entry. You can add the day prior and the night of your class. Add one night and then just change the day and click ‘Add’ again.

Should you wish to buy any extra passes further to you 3 complimentary per entry you do this by clicking on the second along tab.

Once this is complete click ‘update shopping basket’ You can now click to view your shopping basket or ‘Add more entries’ to enter stabling for other entries. Once this is all complete and you are ready to pay for your entry/s click on the shopping basket on the top right hand corner of the page.

This will take you to additions. ADDITIONS

You need to enter who the prize money is to be payable to for each horse You also need to fill in whether you are bringing a horse box/trailer and let us know your vehicle registration. If you do not know your vehicle registration enter ‘TBC’ or you will not be allocated a horsebox pass. Anything extra you want to request please fill in the appropriate section with regard to this here. SUMMARY Once you have saved your additions go to the next tab along ‘Summary’ Scroll down and check you have all the information entered into here to make you entry. PAYMENT You can choose to pay by card, cheque or bank transfer at this stage. If you choose to pay by cheque or bank transfer once this has been received by Grandstand your invoice will update to ‘Paid’ once the payment has been received in the office. This will remain pending until done so.

CONFIRMATION You can download a copy of your receipt from your account in ‘My Entries’ and clicking ‘My Invoices’ COMPETITOR PACK You will receive your horsebox pass and pass cards for your wristlets two weeks prior to the show to the address listed in ‘My Details’. PLEASE REMEMBER All information entered within your account will be printed in the catalogue exactly as you enter it. If you need to make any changes to your entry once processed you must contact the office.
