How to Create an Audioblog by Jared Easley Kary Oberbrunner did something smart and interesting this last quarter. He started an audioblog. The purpose of Kary's audioblog was to accomplish a few goals. 1) Increase the visibility of his core message. 2) Leverage opportunities such as the iOS8 update (the podcast app is now on every Apple device), benefit from Apple Carplay & Stitcher Radio's partnership with General Motors to get in front of more people. 3) Repurpose existing content to a new media channel. Kary did not have the time to dedicate to creating a full blow podcast, but he could repurpose existing content from his popular blog into an audio format. Kary used the following steps to create the Igniting Souls audioblog! (page 4-17) Note: This did not cost any money to set up! Consider doing the same thing with your content. Kary earned iTunes “New & Noteworthy” and received positive feedback almost immediately (see page 2-3).
