How to Create a Manual Test You may create an Express Test or a Manual Test within IBTP. While Express Tests may be quicker, Manual Tests allow more control. Manual Tests allow you to add items from the item bank as well as add your own items to the test. Note: Since the Express Test randomly selects items from the Item Bank, it is recommended that ELA tests are created by searching for passages and then after selecting the desired passages adding those to a manual test.

To Create an Express Test: 1. Hover over the Assessment Admin menu and click Create.

2. Click the Start Now button within the Create a Test Manually box.
