License Conditions

Software Online

Available for all versions of CODESOFT 10  Permanent internet connection required to use the software.  3 license transfers * possible.  If the licensed computer is damaged, lost or stolen, the license can be reactivated a maximum of 2 times.

Software Offline

Available for all versions of CODESOFT 10  No internet connection required to use the software.  3 license transfers * are possible.  If the licensed computer is damaged, lost or stolen, the license is no longer valid.

Hardware or

Platinum Software

Available for all versions of CODESOFT 10  A free USB or LPT port is required.  The software will only work when the hardware key is connected.  If the hardware key is damaged, lost or stolen, the license is no longer valid.

Available for some versions of CODESOFT 10  Internet connection required to start the software.  No internet connection required to use the software.  5 license transfers * possible.  If the licensed computer is damaged, lost or stolen, the license can be reactivated a maximum of 4 times.  2 additional licenses (Software Online) - each valid for 90 days from date of activation - are delivered with the Platinum Software license.

* License transfer means you voluntarily move a license from one computer to another, using the License Manager tool integrated in the software.

User interface integrates the Preview with most important print time settings.



A form allows easy data input for labels with ‘When Printed’ data sources.



Database tab allows easy selection of database records for printing.



The preview is automatically updated when data is modified.

What’s New in CODESOFT 10 Layers Added 

Header/Footer allow you to print batch separator labels at the beginning and/or end of a print job, with key print job information.



Dual Side printing is now also available.

Fit to Frame option allows you to dynamically resize text to a specified area based on the amount of text contained in that field - a major advantage for GHS label creation.

Enhanced Text Art features 

Text can be set to interact in a predictable way with overlapping objects, optimizing the use of space available on a label - a major advantage for the chemical labeling industry.

What’s New in CODESOFT 10 Port Watch 

Allows you to capture data from connected devices such as a barcode scanner, scale or printer.



Port Watch supports devices connected to COM, Wedge, USB or Ethernet ports.

Click Print 

Allows fast selection and printing of labels from a predefined directory.



Provides a simple user interface for printing, as an alternative to the more complex designer interface.

New barcode support 

ISBT128, MicroQRCode, Code One and several postal barcodes.



A new option allows automatic update of the GS1-128 Human readable barcode according to GS1 specification.

What’s New in CODESOFT 10 EPS and PDF support 

Support for .eps files (Encapsulated PostScript) is in vector format (no longer supported through reading the BITMAP preview as it was previously).



Note: This feature relies on a Ghostscript freeware component that needs to be installed (Ghostscript version 8.5 or later).



For compatibility, if Ghostscript is not installed, the BITMAP header, if it exists, will be imported as it was in previous versions.

What’s New in CODESOFT 10 New add-on: Pocket printing 

Allows you to download labels onto Windows Mobile devices for mobile printing.



Limited to printers/drivers that support POF. Printing is possible on a local port or network (TCP/IP).
