Horse Training Agreement and Liability release GENERAL INFORMATION:

It is understood that Justin Mundt will be doing the personal Training of your horse. Owners can contact Justin Mundt after the first 2 weeks of Training, and in 2 week intervals after that to check their horse’s progress, or to ask any questions if the Owner so desires. We ask owners not to call Justin Mundt Horsemanship to request updates at other times than these as it is impossible for Justin Mundt to answer those questions due to the intense Training Regimen. 2 weeks is sufficient time for Justin Mundt to make progress, and to be able to relay that progress to the Owner. If Justin Mundt Horsemanship has any questions in the meanwhile, Justin Mundt will contact the Owner. Justin Mundt Horsemanship asks again that you only call every 2 weeks to ask questions, and to check progress. Justin Mundt Horsemanship discourages unscheduled visits by Owners, or anyone acting under Owner orders to check the progress of the horse in Training. If Owner, or any assisting Parties acting in accordance with said Owner, Justin Mundt Horsemanship reserves the right to terminate the Training of the horse, without a refund. During the 8 week Training Course, Justin Mundt will Train the horse using “The Mundt Method” of Horsemanship Training Program. It should be understood that each horse is unique in mentality, ability, as well as experience, and consequently the degree to which the horse progresses through the Training Course, depends on the individual horse. It is understood that Justin Mundt, and Justin Mundt Horsemanship will not be held liable for the level at which the horse will progress through the Training Program. At the end of the Training Course, there will be a demonstration made my Justin Mundt, on how the horse has progressed.

It is our goal that your Training experience with your horse be a positive one, and that you and your horse continue with your Training goals at home. We recommend that you purchase a Justin Mundt Horsemanship Halter and Lead, and a Justin Mundt Horsemanship Stick and String, to help you with your Training once you return home. If you feel that you need further Training for yourself beyond the demonstration and Private Lesson at the end of your horse’s Training Course, it is recommended that you attend one of Justin’s 3-Day Fundamentals Clinics, or attend Private Lessons to help you to reach your horsemanship goals. It is imperative that you feed your horse plenty of hay, no grain, and work and train your horse a great deal during your first 2 weeks back home, in order to ensure that your horse’s transition goes as smoothly as possible. I ____________________________________ agree to pay all Training Course Costs as listed above, and I understand that MY HORSE WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTILL ALL EXPENSES ARE PAID IN FULL! The owner grants a possessory lien against the horse in Training to Justin Mundt and Justin Mundt Horsemanship, as well as a boarding cost of $12.50 per day, until all expenses are paid in full. Should such expenses go unpaid, Justin Mundt Horsemanship will be entitled to exercises the right to enforce this lien according to the laws of the State.

Justin Mundt Horsemanship cannot be held liable for the level of Training the horse received if the Training is terminated early. After all fees have been paid in full, the Training Agreement would be concluded.

Owner will need to provide Justin Mundt Horsemanship with a Current Negative Coggins, Valid Health Certificate, Immunization Record, & copy of Registration Papers, and have the horse Vet Checked and guaranteed sound, and provide all paperwork to Justin Mundt Horsemanship at time of sign up.
