The interior design project for this villa immersed in a landscape filled with lush vegetation revolves around the desire to create a living space that is entirely in communion with Nature and the surrounding countryside. Author of the project, architect João Armentano, abolished almost all the barriers between the interior and exterior, leaving every area of the home with open access to the garden surrounding the villa. An impressive see-through fireplace unites the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Indoor furnishings include compositions of the Andersen seating system, upholstered in elegant ecru fabric and sophisticated black leather. Complementing the ensemble are a Blake-Soft armchair and ottoman covered in beige suede and a Clyfford coffee table. Featured in the elegant dining room are the Flynt dining little armchairs upholstered in beige leather paired with the Toulouse dining table. Nestled under the portico are generously-sized, comfortable pieces from the Alison Iroko Outdoor seating system covered in grey fabric. Architecture and Interior Design Project: Arch. An interior of rare elegance designed by Minotti L.A. for a 1700 square meter home in the exclusive Bird Streets area in the heights above Hollywood Blvd., where the sweeping views reach from Malibu to Catalina. In addition to the main building and pool, the property also includes a separate guest house with its own pool, a gym and a garage. The residence’s typically modern architecture was inspired by the California Case Study House designs where the real stars are precious materials used to complete the interiors, like the marble that clads walls and bathrooms, white quartz used for flooring, and the grey quartz that covers the walls. To furnish the various rooms in the home, Mary Ta of Minotti L.A., creative mind behind the interior design project, drew heavily from the Minotti collections, choosing the Williams sofas with the Calder coffee tables as well as the Jensen bergère and Hockney chaiselongue for the spacious living room. Featured in the master bedroom is the Tatlin-Soft bed with Harvey nightstands and the Flynt bench. Interior Design Project: Mary Ta, Minotti L.A. This villa with typically Scandinavian architecture is placed in a setting of pristine natural beauty, in which the interior design project by Geco artfully introduces the Hamilton sofa and Leger coffee tables. These pieces were chosen for their clean lines, and the sofa, with its raised base, seems to float like an island retreat in the magnificent living room with its 360° view of the surrounding countryside. This breathtaking setting appeared in the film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig, filmed on location here. In the upscale Lyons suburb of “Monts d’Or”, from the color of the stone utilized on the facades of the homes, this charming traditional villa was the object of a major renovation by David Burles, of Dorga Interior Design. The architect’s mission was to reorganize the space, making the home more functional for the family, without diminishing its charm and refined elegance. A spectacular composition of the Hamilton seating system, upholstered in elegant ecru fabric, and two Cortina armchairs were selected to furnish the spacious living room with its original marble fireplace and ample windows that open onto the garden. The Jagger sofa in a corner composition and Clyfford coffee table complement the adjoining family room (once the dining room), where the stone fireplace and sophisticated lacquered wood paneling lend timeless appeal. A spacious, contemporary home in the heart of Washington, D.C. enjoys an exceptional view of Rock Creek Park. The high ceilings, expansive glazing and use of natural materials like stone, all come together to create a harmonious whole. At once warm and functional, the home fulfills the needs of the family, as desired by the client. The choices made by Deborah Kalkstein, artistic talent tasked with the interior design project, favor a restrained color palette, dominated by neutral tones, which appear in the upholstery of the spacious Hamilton sofa and Capri poufs, accompanied by Leger, Still and Calder coffee and side tables. In the bedroom, next to the fireplace, two Portofino armchairs with Caulfield side tables. The project for this villa on the Yatsugatake mountains - by Kidosaki Architects – stems from the need to build a house that would blend in harmoniously with its natural surroundings. In order to seize as much of the magnificent view as possible, the entire living area protrudes into the valley, a very complex, yet extremely light structural design. In the living room, comfortably seated on the Hamilton corner sofa, you can enjoy panoramic views of an unparalleled beauty. Bresson and Leger coffee tables complete the elegant, understated interiors, while the adjoining dining area features a Lennon table and Bag Light chairs. From its vantage point high in the hills above Beverly Hills, this spectacular home offers unrivaled views of the city of Los Angeles. The project – by Whipple Russell Architects – emphasizes the seamless transition between indoors and outdoors, and the luxuriously organic gardens and terraces that surround the residence. All of the rooms feature expansive openings to the outside and offer an aesthetically dramatic contrast between the white flooring and dark wood ceilings. Many of the home’s furnishings were drawn from the Minotti collection. In the living area are two facing Hamilton Islands sofas accompanied by a Huber coffee table. A corner composition of the Hamilton seating system, Suitcase armchair and Bellagio, Albers and Leger coffee and accent tables contribute sophisticated allure to the fireplace seating area. The owners wanted a home that would have a sophisticated and contemporary feel to it. The renovation project involved combining two units into a single home on various levels, connected by an elegant central staircase and an elevator. The Greg Natale Design practice, which signed the brilliant interior design project, imbued the entire home with an atmosphere of modern, relaxed elegance by choosing soft hues for the walls, curtains and furniture to contrast with the wood doors and flooring.  The spacious, sunlight-filled living area, which enjoys a magnificent view of Sydney harbor, was furnished with the curved Dubuffet seating system and an Archipenko storage cabinet. White leather Flynt stools were placed around the large kitchen bench, while the choice fell on glossy white Harvey nightstands for the main bedroom. The project for this holiday retreat, for a family that lives overseas, was conceived as an aggregation of three separate but communicating elements around a central swimming pool. Large sliding glass doors give the villa an extremely dynamic look and create a dialog with the inside, without any continuity between the exterior and interior spaces. The Pitsou Kedem architectural practice was also entrusted with the interior design project and sourced several products from the Minotti collection. Near the bar counter with its Flynt stools, are two Smith sofas with a Smith coffee table, and Leger and Nay coffee tables. In the adjoining dining room, the large Van Dyck table with a burled walnut top has been teamed with Flynt chairs, Johns bookcase and a Calder console with Black Marquina marble top. With strong emotional ties to the bungalow in which they spent twentyfive years of their life, the couple who commissioned this project specifically asked A-DLab of Singapore to renovate and enlarge the bungalow in a way that would retain the original spirit of their home, but would also afford larger living spaces and the possibility of creating two separate residences. The result is a lovely two-family home that retains all the charm of the original construction but offers a series of functional spaces, open to the lush foliage of the garden. The large, light-filled living room sets the scene for an elegant Powell sofa upholstered in gray fabric and two Prince armchairs in beige leather, with Sullivan coffee tables. York chairs surround the Evans table in the adjoining dining room.
