HOME HORIZON RESIDENTIAL SERVICES 10 Years Serving the Community This year celebrates our 10 year mark of providing support in affordable housing units to the homeless in South Georgian Bay. During the 10 years our program has grown to 6 housing units that can house up to 10 families and 30 individuals and have housed 381 people.

WE WON! THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTES! Joseph Carr from Nottawasaga Mechanical sponsored an online fundraiser challenge for Charities in the Collingwood area every three months. We were chosen as a charity to compete for the $1000.00 prize. The charity with the most votes wins $1,000.00. Thank you to all those who voted for us and a huge thank you to Nottawasaga Mechanical. The funds from this will help provide support for our Youth Program. WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY! Doris Sensenberger is pictured below presenting Binnie Armstrong with the “Volunteer of the Year Award”. Binnie Armstrong has been a long time friend of Home Horizon and past board member. She was voted our 2015 Volunteer of the Year. Binnie has done so much for Home Horizon from looking after one of our units supported by the First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood to collecting bottles and selling tickets. There just isn’t anything that Binnie will not do in support of Home Horizon.
