4/ CHASING TOOLS.
The diamond blade machines cut two slots in the wall face which can then be chased out with a small demolition hammer. The Impex wall chaser is for use on breeze blocks only, but will cut either a 20mm or 25mm chase to a set depth in one pass. Because of the slow speed of the TCT cutters very little dust is produced. This can be collected via a dust extraction unit. Ideal for setting conduits into walls.

1/ DRAIN AIR BAGS.
Drains and sewers must be tested to BS8005. A range of drain plugs and bags are available to seal the drains. The drain test kit is then used to check the the drain. Air is pumped into the drain until a level of 100mm is indicated. The pressure must not fall below 75mm over a 5 minute period to pass the test

2/ PUMPS. Centrifugal pumps, either petrol or heavy duty diesel engined versions come with a semi rigid suction hose and filter and a layflat delivery hose. Submersible pumps only require a layflat delivery hose. They are electrically powered and can be fitted with a float switch to switch the power on and off when the water reaches preset levels. This means that they can be left unattended for long periods. Where there is a need to clear water to a very low level, ie. 1mm, submersible puddle pumps may be used. These have a rubber base and will pump air and water without damage to the pump. Fuel transfer pumps are reversible and will transfer diesel and light oil.
