DISA 030 The DISA 030 is a vertical, greensand moulding system for production of a wide range of grey, ductile iron and other metal castings in many different sizes. The basic equipment includes the moulding machine and the automatic mould conveyor system.

DISA 030 Moulding Machine The DISA 030 Moulding Machine (DMM) employs the vertical greensand moulding principle invented and further developed by DISA, enabling fast production of high-integrity moulds with low mismatch and minimal finishing costs. Simplified operation with innovative mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems inherited from other DISA solutions mean higher uptime with lower maintenance requirements.

DISA 030 Automatic Mould Conveyor The Automatic Mould Conveyor (AMC) of 12 or 18 metres in length is synchronised with the DISA 030 Moulding Machine for high-precision, hydraulically driven mould transport through the pouring, solidifying and cooling zones with no shifting, distortion or displacement of moulds. The AMC features wear rails for easy maintenance.

DISA 030 Core Setter (optional) The Core Setter (CSE) automatically inserts cores into the mould, thus optimising speed by eliminating the risk of bottlenecks. The movements of the CSE and the inserting force are hydraulically and pneumatically controlled, enabling individual adjustment for automatic setup of the insertion sequence.

DISA 030 Quick Pattern Change Unit (optional) The Quick Pattern Change Unit (QPC) facilitates and speeds up pattern changing on the DISA 030 Moulding System. The QPC makes pattern changing easier, faster, more precise, and less dependent on the skill and routine of the operator, reducing pattern changing time to as little as 2-3 minutes.

DISA 030 Synchronised Belt Conveyor (optional) Used for extended cooling time, the Synchronised Belt Conveyor (SBC) is available in 2 metre rubber belt modules running on precisely positioned rollers with dustproof bearings. The SBC is powered by and synchronised with the AMC, thus ensuring transport of the entire mould string without mould gaps and ensuring mould integrity.
