Help Topic – Financials 11.00 Where is it now? Financials 11.00 introduces ribbon functionality into the financial statements. The ER Financial statements options (ER) document has been removed and all of the options have been repurposed in the ribbons in the financial statements.
The ribbon technology better supports the work flow when creating financial statements and increases transparency between the options previously located in ER and the effect on the financial statements. The ribbons include:
Home – includes the most commonly used functions in the financial statements. Many items are also included in other ribbons. Insert – this ribbon manages the insertion of content and table rows and columns. Format – customize the look and feel of your financial statements using the format ribbon. Table Tools – all actions related to managing tables are included in this ribbon. Note Tools – options specific to formatting policies and disclosures. Navigate – quick access ribbon to commonly used areas in the financial statements and Working Papers. Content Management – provides ability to maintain on-going content needs in the financial statements. Statement Setup – this context sensitive ribbon updates depending on the location of your cursor in the financial statements. Manage options specific to each statement. Global Setup – settings that affect the entire statement are found within this ribbon. This ribbon only needs to be accessed on the initial creation of the statements. Entity Information – also only used on initial creation of the statements; this ribbon contains your basic client data. It is the first active ribbon after creating a new client file.
