Chord descriptions and rhythmic accompaniment patterns for drums, body percussion and movement suggest a wide range of possibilities for creative interpretation. If the work is performed within the celebration of the mass, the congregation can be given an active role in the performance by the “Themes to join in” (see the Appendix for a photocopiable version). The score also includes an informative programme booklet in German and English in photocopiable form. This provides basic notes and comments on the mass as a whole, on the individual choral pieces and on the great “men and women of peace”.
