Castle ticket incl. funicular railway In addition to the HeidelbergCARD, you also get the Castle ticket. This ticket combines a funicular railway trip and Castle visit in one thrilling experience! Your Castle visit has a relaxed and eco-friendly start at the bottom station. The Castle ticket includes a return journey on one of Germany’s most modern electrical funicular railways, via the Schloss (Castle) station right up to the Molkenkur station as well as one-time admission to the Castle courtyard, the barrel cellar as well as a visit to the German Pharmacy Museum. Castle opening hours: Daily 8 am – 6 pm (Castle courtyard, giant barrel), last entrance 5:30 pm.
