Healthcare Projects: National Heart Centre, Singapore Overview The National Heart Centre (NHC) is a 185 bed national and regional centre for cardiovascular diseases. It’s a world class facility which has won multiple awards.

Solution Dortek supplied clean area and theatre doors, it’s these operating theatre doors that are most innovative. The doors were fire rated, hygienic, x ray rated and hermetic sealing, incorporating four different door types into one in order to offer a complete solution. Dortek also supplied 3metre long hygienic observation windows into lab areas with lead lining and Smart Glass technology. Pass through hatches were installed in the hospitals cell culture lab and automations & interlocking were used for controlled and convenient access.

Healthcare Projects: National Maternity Hospital, Ireland Overview The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin, popularly known as Holles Street Hospital, is the largest maternity hospital in Ireland. The hospital delivers over 10,000 babies per year. The new Neonatal ICU unit provides treatment for critically ill babies who are transported to Holles street from other hospitals.

Solution Dortek hermetically sealing ICU doors were specified to maximise visibility, minimise room intrusions and provide access for staff and patients. Dortek ICU doors are ideal for areas where infection control is paramount to patient safety. The doors are highly hygienic with a flush, wipe clean surface.

Healthcare Projects: Hamad General Hospital, Qatar Overview Established in 1982, Hamad General Hospital has 621 beds for inpatient care, a large outpatient department offering 65 specialty clinics, an Accident and Emergency Department, five intensive care units, eight operating theatres, and a pharmacy.

Solution As part of a major expansion to improve patient care services, Dortek supplied and installed ultra hygienic, void free door systems across the emergency department. GRP fire rated doors and hermetic sliding doors were specified. Sliding doors were used to maximise space in treatment areas and automations were provided for quick and convenient access.

Healthcare Projects: Salford Royal Hospital, UK Overview One of the top performing hospitals in the UK, Salford Royal is a national centre for a wide range of specialist treatments, including brain, bone, kidney, intestine and dermatology.

Solution Dortek supplied hermetic sealing sliding doors which were lead lined and fire rated. The doors were automated and interlocked with indicator lights to reduce the risk of air contamination. These ultra clean sliding doors meet the required pressure for Operating Theatre and Anaesthetic Rooms in line with HTM03-01 more effectively than swing doors. They also make the best use of space and their lead lining accommodates laser & radiology procedures. .

Solution Dortek supplied GRP doors with large vision panels to ensure optimum hygiene and to create a light and spacious feel. Door automations were installed with touchless sensors and interlocking mechanisms were used to ensure effective air pressure control. Healthcare Projects: Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Singapore Overview The NGTFGH is a 700-bed hospital located in Western Singapore. Pairing NGFGH with Jurong Community Hospital is key to the governments strategy to maintain simple, affordable healthcare as the population ages.

Solution Dortek supplied and installed over 100 specialist hygienic lead lined doors, many of which were automated. Dortek's Bi parting lead lined doors were supplied with large vision panels. Vision panels were used to enhance a healing environment by promoting natural light. Wide lead lined hinged doors (1425mm) were specified to give clear traffic access throughout clinical areas.
