Methods of Applying for Services

This program covers acute illnesses and assistance for the health needs to prevent disability for adults 21-64 years. The goal of the program is to reduce costly hospitalization and increase the ability to work. MISP is NOT insurance. It is for adults who suffer traumas or have other emergent needs. Acute illnesses Medical care to prevent disability Prescriptions that are on the Medi-Cal formulary are covered. They must report changes in income, living circumstances or if they apply or become eligible for other health benefits. Failure to do so can result in revocation of eligibility

Provides medical and dental services to low-income uninsured patients in the East Coachella Valley. Preventive and acute care Chronic disease management Minor procedures Laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic testing Gynecologic services / Well women’s preventative care Prescription assistance Basic dentistry including fillings and extractions. No crowns, root canals or dentures Educational programs for disease management.

Must be a Riverside County resident. Fees are on a sliding scale based on proof of income. Call 1-800-720-9553 and set an appointment. There is a $50 charge for the first appointment. Proof of income and proof of Riverside County residency They also accept: Medi-Cal, PPO insurance, MISP, Riverside County HealthCare (RCHC) and Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP). No waitlist to participate, but you must make an appointment by calling 1-800-7209553 Banning, Blythe, Corona, Hemet, Indio, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, Mecca, Palm Springs, Perris, Riverside and Rubidoux Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Closed all weekends and County holidays
