It may cause malfunction of the unit or fire. • Use this product under temperature conditions only between - 10°C and +50°C. • Should be careful not to have the lines changed when connecting them. • Prior to turn on the device, check the cable insulation condition of the data cable, connected with external devices. • Before installing the product, check its voltage rate and then turn on the power. • Make sure to turn off the product prior to installation. • Do not subject the product to physical shock or exert excessive force to operate the product. • Do not use the device when any smoke or smell is produced from the unit. It may be subject to fire or electric shock. If any smoke or smell is produced, please turn off the unit and remove the power cable immediately, and contact your distributor to check the device properly. • If the power does not turn ON, please check whether the power cable is connected correctly or not. • Please note the transmission distance may vary depending on the cable quality and its loop resistance. Please refer to the transmission distance reference table per type of coaxial cable. • If the device does not work properly, please contact your distributor.

1. Introduction 1.1 Overview

Using our HD-SDI transmission solutions (SC-HCP0601D, SC-HLR01D), you can transmit HD-SDI signal, Power (Max. 6W) and RS-485 over one coaxial cable up to 200M (HD: 1.485G) and 130M (full HD: 2.97G). The SC-HCP0601D is composed of a SC-HTP0601D (Transmitter) and a SC-HRP0601D (Receiver).Also the transmission distance can be extended up to 200M by using a repeater (SCHLR01D). This device can supply power to the camera and transmit the RS-485 data over 1 coaxial cable. Using SC-HCP0601D, as it is not necessary to wire the power cable or Data cable when installing the HD-SDI camera, it is cost-saving and easy installation solution.

1.2 Features

• “HD-SDI + Power + Data” Transmission over one coaxial cable. • Transmitting SDI signals up to 200m (HD: 1.485G), 130m (Full HD:2.97G) over RG-6 (Transmission distance can be extended by using a repeater, SC-HLR01D) • Bi-directional RS-485 Communication (Half Duplex) • No need of power/RS-485 data wiring for the camera or repeater in the middle • Installation improvement: Cost saving 30 ~ 50% • Possible to supply power to Megapixel camera (power consumption: Max.6W) with SC-HTP0601D (DC48V to DC12V down converter) and SC-HRP0601D (PoC power combiner) • Auto diagnosis for the cable status and safe power supply • Surge protection function • Distance extension repeater: SC-HLR01D (Max. 200m in HD transmission)

1.3 HD Signals Standards 



SeeEyes HD-SDI transmission solutions are conformed with the SDI signals standards of the SMPTE(Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) The SDI (Serial Digital Interface) signals transmission system is the innovative transmission system with which it can transmit incompressible video signals over one single cable. As the SDI signals are digital signals, it is possible to transmit limitless distance without modification by equalizing and re-clocking at each certain distance. 3. Product Parts & Peripheral Device Connection 3.1 Product Parts and Function

3.1.1 SC-HTP0601D(1CH transmitter) • The transmitter receives HD-SDI signals from the camera with HD-SDI IN port and transmits them over the coaxial cable to the receiver. (Recommended distance between the camera and SC-HTP0601D is Max.10m) • Using the SC-HRP0601D or SC-HLR01D, it receives DC48V from them and supplies power to the camera by down-converting to DC12V (The actual input power might be decreased by cable resistance or transmission distance.) • This device receives the Control DATA from HD-SDI OUT port and outputs the DATA through RS-485 output port. Also It is possible to control Camera OSD Menu. ②

3.1.2 SC-HRP0601D(1CH receiver) • It receives HD-SDI signal over coaxial cable and transmits to HD Splitter or HD-DVR. (Recommended distance between SC-HRP0601D and HD Splitter/HDDVR is Max.20m) • Possible to supply power to the camera and the transmitter by using exclusive adaptor. • It receives Control DATA from RS-485 DATA input port and outputs through HD-SDI IN port. ④

DIP SW: DC 48V Power supply Setup(With VP function / Without VP function) SW1 Not used Supplying 48V DC Power - When it is connected with SC-HTP0601D (Tx), SC-HLR01D (Repeater) properly, it supplies power to the units if they are connected correctly. ON - When the devices are connected correctly, the Yellow LED SW2 will turn on. But, if the devices are not connected correctly and/or there is any abnormal operation, the power LED will flicker. Not supplying DC 48V Power (Default mode) OFF - The Yellow LED is always on.

※ Warning: When you do not want to supply power (48VDC) to the camera using the SC-HRP0601D, please make sure to turn the DIP Switch OFF. Please turn the DIP Switch On after checking SC-HTP0601D(Down converter)/extra SC-HLR01D is connected properly. Otherwise, it may cause the camera damaged due to an overcurrent. (The Dip S/W of the product is set as an “OFF” mode as default value.) ④ DC IN & RS-485 PORT • DC INPUT: DC12V~48V Power input port[Input DC48V for power supply function.] • RS-485 DATA input port. ⑤ HD-SDI OUT: Outputs only HD-SDI signal over Coaxial cable. • Connect with the devices such as HD-SDI DVR or HD-SDI Splitter.

3-1-3. SC-HLR01D: Repeater (1 in 1 out) • Using this unit, you can extend the transmission distance of HD-SDI signals of HD cameras with HD-SDI output up to 200M. • Using SC-HTP0601D, (Extra)SC-HLR01D, SC-HRP0601D, you can supply power to the camera over the single coaxial cable. • Receiving RS-485 Control DATA and outputting through HD-SDI IN port.

4. Connection Diagram 4.1 Example #1:

4-1-1. SC-HTP0601D (Tx) + SC-HRP0601D (Rx) • Connect HD Splitter (SC-HD04Q) with SC-HTP0601D. HD-SDI signals from SCHD04Q are transmitted to SC-HRP0601D through HTP0601D over coaxial cable (RG-6, Max.200m) and the signals are sent to HD-SDI Monitor(DVR). • The receiver (SC-HRP0601D) receives 48VDC and supplies power to SCHTP0601D (Transmitter). • Possible to control the HD Splitter using Control DATA received from the receiver through the transmitter. • Recommended Transmission distance between SC-HTP0601D (Transmitter) and a Splitter is Max. 10m. • Recommended Transmission distance between SC-HRP0601D (Receiver) and a Monitor/DVR is Max. 20m. (Transmission distance varies depending on the DVR/Monitor Spec or models)

4-1-2. SC-HTP0601D + SC-HLR01D [SC-HLR01D is used as a Receiver] • Possible to transmit HD-SDI signal from HD Splitter(SC-HD04Q) up to 200m by using SC-HTP0601D. • Supplying power (DC48V) to SC-HTP0601D by using SC-HLR01D (Repeater) • Possible to control the HD Splitter using Control DATA received from SCHLR01D (Repeater) through the transmitter. • Recommended Transmission distance between SC-HTP0601D (Transmitter) and a Splitter is Max. 10m. • Recommended Transmission distance between SC-HLR01D (Repeater) and a Monitor/DVR is Max. 200m. HD-SDI signals from HD-SDI camera are transmitted to SC-HRP0601D through HTP0601D over coaxial cable (RG-6, Max.200m) and the signals are sent to HD-SDI Monitor (DVR). • The receiver (SC-HRP0601D) receives 48VDC and supplies power to SCHTP0601D (Transmitter). SC-HTP0601D converts DC48V to DC12V and supplies power to the camera.  Please note the distance may reduce in the actual field due to any possible video loss. Therefore, we recommend you to connect the cable under 70% of the maximum distance stated above.  We recommend you to use BNC connectors with low connection resistance when connecting the coaxial cables.  Please be careful not to make deformation of the cable when wiring the cable.  Please avoid pulling the cable by force when wiring the cable.  Please avoid bending the coaxial cable too tightly when wiring the cable. It may make deformation of the cable.
