HAVER NIAGARA Vibrating Feeder

HAVER Classifying Technology

Dedicated engineers with the support of modern design equipment develop and manufacture individual machines and complete plants always under careful consideration of all safety and environmental standard. Proven technology in connection with modern HAVER control and switching plants generate economical solutions even in antiquated existing plants.

In 1991 in our manufacturing facility in MOnster we inaugurated a new production center especially prepared to the generation of machines for the classifying industry. The modern specialized production methods allow for short delivery times. HAVER generates quality by using modern tooling machinery and experienced engineers with excellent training.

This trademark symbolizes the HAVER classifying Technology since 1930. The name NIAGARA has evolved to signify innovation, quality, reliability and results. More than 14000 screens and 5000 vibrating feeders in use worldwide display this trademark. Decades of experience in the classifying technology field has made HAVER an indispensable partner in areas of customized problem-solving and plant design.

Original replacement parts guarantee the proper operation of the system and avoid unnecessary down times. All wearable replacement parts are always available from our stock. As a part of our replacement part services we also offer special tested screen bearings out of our stock. More than 60 field technicians are representing HAVER on a daily basis around the world. They install and commission new plants, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance ~ and qualified repairs and customer personnel training sessions. 2

HAVER Classifying Technology

HAVER Vibrating Feeders are highly versatile machines in the stone and cravel industry as well as the chemical, fertilizer and food industries. The HAVER Vibrating Feeders operate as discharge equipment for silos, feeders for screens and transport and dosing devices for weighers and containers. Through its use a wide range of diverse products are economically transported. Wear and tear is minimal due to the low content of mechanical moving parts. In special cases the feeders can be fitted with screen cloth to operate as small clasifiers.

For the proper operation of the vibrating feeder it is of vital importance that the silo closing device also operates properly as the feeder's level control device, as well as maintenance control device. Several styles of silo control devices are available based on product and feeder characteristics. The project situation often has a determining influence on the method of bearing. If the troughs can be put up, the bedding in a steel profile is the rule. Otherwise, the conveyors are suspended. trough. When handling corrosive materials the inner walls are rubber or plastic lined.

The vibratibns are achieved by the use of two unbalanced motors or an electromagnetic drive.

The unbalanced motor generates the vibrations through centrifugal weights which are attached to the motor shaft. The weights are made up by two opposite placeable plates. Through these plates the output and amplitude of the feeder can be adjusted. The frequency is determined by the Motor's RPM. The electromagnetic drive generates high frequency vibrations which can be adjusted through a stepless potentiometer. The drive is maintenance free.

The heart of a vibrating feeder is the trough. Made of 4-8 mm thick steel plate, the trough is the receiving area for the product. In order to achieve more stability its edges are bent and its ducer walls are covered with steel plate or sheet metal. Robust drive consoles transmit the vibrations to the trough. For the handling of abrasive materials special sheet metals are used to line the inner walls of the

HAVER Vibrating Feeder have proven themselves as feeding elements to crushers and mills. Through the stepless adjusting of the output of the feeder it is possible to perfectly match the capacity of crushers and mills, by utilizing a feeder the feeding of a screen can be achieved evenly thus producing better screening results. That is the reason why HAVER Vibrating Feeders are used as dosing devices to mix different components, Le. in the building materials industry for the production of mixed gravel and limestone additives, the slide gates are available as angular, round, flat or needle type.
