Patio Door Handles Handles designed for operation with patio door locks, incorporating symmetrical, ergonomic grip. The Hoppe “Resista finish” handle has been tested to BS EN 1670 and salt spray tested to 1000 hours. All Patio door handles have a 10 year mechanical guarantee.

This maximises security by minimsing the clearance at the top of the sliding sash and reducing the risk of it being lifted off. Enhanced Security This section specifies the hardware requirements for an Enhanced Security 2 pane Sliding Patio Door designed to comply with the requirements of BS 6375 and PAS 24.

PatioMaster Secure The Association of Chief Police Officers has an initiative aimed at stopping crime before it can get a grip. The Secured By Design endorsement is only available to specialist manufacturers who meet the exacting standards of the scheme, and we are pleased that our PatioMaster Secure dealers have attained this standard. PatioMaster Secure doors have extra security features and are even more resistant to break-ins.

Features include:  Anti-bump lock cylinders  Patio interlock bolts which prevent the door panels being forced apart  Security head rail which prevents the sliding door being lifted off the track  PAS 24:2012 handle system designed to withstand sustained manual attack  Full height security keep rail supporting the sliding door at each corner

Secured by Design is the official UK police flagship initiative supporting the principles of “designing out crime”. Secured by Design focuses on crime prevention of homes and commercial premises and promotes the use of security standards for a wide range of applications and products.
