Here is how the Library served you during the fiscal year July 2014 - June 2015: Users The Library serves a population of 52,102, an estimated 17,671 households. There are 32,890 registered borrowers, 68,662 people visited our website and 426,381 people came through our door!
Programs and Services There were 1,153 programs and 59,143 of your neighbors attended. Did you? What about the summer reading club? A total of 1,266 children, teens and adults took part. Did you miss it? There are computers here for your use, and 63,558 people made use of the opportunity. That number does not include the people who took advantage of our public Wi-fi with their own devices.
Collections The Library owns 316,496 print materials, 45,504 e-books, 89 databases, 6,526 downloadable audio books, and 26,288 films, audio-books and music cd’s. Library staff added 31,720 of these materials throughout the year. We circulated 420,880 items and were open 3,382 hours which means we circulated 125 items per hour. We borrowed 24,175 items from other libraries for your use and loaned 42,736 items to other libraries’ patrons.
