The city of Guadalajara is located in the state of Jalisco. It is bordered by Zapopan and Ixtlahuácan del Río to the north, to the east by Ixtlahuácan del Río and Tonalá, to the south by Tlaquepaque and to the west by Tlaquepaque and Zapopan. It occupies 117 sq. miles.

Guadalajara has 4,580,000 inhabitants.
