8(a) PARTNERSHIP

TOOL KIT

As a SBA certified 8(a) firm, GSMA holds one of the most sought-after competitive advantages in the world of government contracting. We are uniquely positioned to bid for contracts that are not available to non-8(a) firms.

Fast track your path to success in the world of government contracting by partnering with Global Security Management Agency Founded in 1993, GSMA is a veteran-owned, Native American, Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified 8(a)/Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) serving the government and commercial sectors. We are looking to partner with companies who want to bring their products and services to more government buyers, utilizing our 8(a) and Native American business dispensations as a means to get sole source contracts and to participate in 8(a) or Native American set-aside solicitations. Please review our tool kit and learn how to pursue new set-aside business opportunities with the U.S. federal government and create new revenue streams and vertical markets by partnering with GSMA.

Understanding the 8(a) Business Development Program The Small Business Administration (SBA) has created the 8(a) Business Development Program to help small disadvantaged

businesses that meet specific socio-economic criteria compete

effectively in the federal government marketplace. Designed for firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and

economically disadvantaged individuals, the 8(a) Program helps these businesses gain a foothold in federal government contracting by

competing in set-aside procurements against like-sized companies, and to even receive sole-source awards when these entities fill a

specific mission need deemed unique and essential by a government

buyer. Businesses who receive 8(a) certification have passed rigorous vetting and performance requirements established by the SBA.
