Hiring at Helbling  Helbling Technik recruits approx. 75% of its engineers directly from engineering schools (typ.

25/year)  Hiring is responsibility of the line at team level (central HR: contract administration and payroll)  Decision between BS and MS/PhD is made at job description level  Between candidates with MS and PhD degree: in most cases, decision will depend on

candidates profiles  Specific for candidates with a PhD:

Technical skills / specialization: applicability of research field in future product developments for our customers is essential (early phase projects) and • Potential for opening new business areas for Helbling also plays a role (extension of services) •

 Initial compensation: PhD degree considered equivalent to MS degree with 3-4 years

professional experience  Internal training program aiming at:

- developing new (non academic) skills, particularly soft ones (communication, negotiations etc.) - accelerating integration in teams/centers - strengthening project management in industrial environment (time/money/ - alignment (business model, vision, mission)
