CABO VILLAS WELCOMES LUIS YUEN AS GENERAL MANAGER

YAZMÍN GONZÁLEZ

Cabo Villas is pleased to announce Luis Yuen has been named the new general manager of Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa. He will be in charge of the operations and direction of Cabo Villas. Yuen was part of Pueblo Bonito Group for over 17 years in various roles, including capital assets coordinator, general manager, operations manager, general comptroller and operation administration director. His experience will contribute to the continued development of Cabo Villas with high levels of quality and enthusiasm. Former general manager Sergio Baños has been named asset manager of the new Corzon del Cabo project, a luxury resort tower to be integrated with Cabo Villas. In his new role, Baños will oversee a variety of areas for Corazon del Cabo, including; Strategic direction, budgeting, revenue forecasting, purchasing, contract negotiations, capital expenditure planning, operating procedures, staffing and branding. TRANSPORTATION SHUTTLES AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK Transportation services from the airport to Cabo Villas Beach Resort are available through Olympus Tours, who offer both shuttle and private services. Shuttle transportation to Cabo Villas is for arrival only, and is $18 USD per person (minimum of four passengers is required). Private transportation is $90 USD. You can book your transportation to Cabo Villas online here. For transportation back to the airport, the rate is $75 (1 – 4 persons). Additional persons are $18 USD. BEAUTIFUL UPDATES AT SPARITUAL Your oasis in paradise is now even better! A number of renovations were done at Sparitual to enhance your wonderful experience. The wall between the men’s and women’s wet areas has been replaced with a sliding glass door, creating the perfect place to hold a spa wedding party or any other spa get together. A new lighting system was installed in the cabin lobby as well as the cabins; The multiple coloring options offer the perfect color for the perfect mood. SPORTFISHING REPORT

Happy summer. It’s “Game on” in Cabo now. After the early tropical storm systems that passed by Cabo already this year, we are officially in summer fishing conditions! The Blue Marlin are already showing. This is a great sign of a super strong summer fishing season. We hooked a Blue over 400 lbs in mid-June, and released one approximately 250 lbs. Check out the Bad Medicine website for photos. The Striped Marlin bite is nothing short of spectacular. We are seeing 5-6 shots per day on Stripeys now, both on lures and trolled Ballyhoo; super exciting action. Aggressive fish that are abnormally large. We are posting photos regularly on our Facebook page and you can see for yourselves some of the most beautiful Striped Marlin ever. Dorado are also showing well and will swarm our water all summer and fall. Bring your coolers to bring fish home and remember to keep only what you can consume. The tuna have also finally shown up. Some fat fish were hauled to the scales, with fish over 150 lbs out there. Be ready to stretch your arms. The shore bite is also on. The Mullet are spawning and that brings the Roosterfish. Super fun light tackle action and there are miles of untouched beaches to attack. Bad Medicine has openings this summer. Get booked and get down here! Get down here and let’s roll! INFUSION THE LOS CABOS CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION TV ON CHANNEL 18 Over the past 15 years, Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa has been grateful and honored to be a part of a number of caring foundations and charities in the Los Cabos area. Cabo Villas has grown extremely close with the Los Cabos Children Foundation. Their main goal is to provide medical assistance for children in the Los Cabos area suffering from cancer, heart defects and other serious illnesses. The LCCF and their amazing kids are showcased on channel 18. These children have little or no chance without treatment and medical assistance. A typical heart surgery for a child costs $10,000 (USD), while a year of cancer treatment totals $20,000 (USD). Cabo Villas invites you to join us in a rewarding experience with the Los Cabos Children’s Foundation. LCCF CHILD OF THE MONTH

FERNANDO

Little Fernando received a luminated bracelet from the nurses, which he believed gave him superpowers to quickly recover from his open heart surgery. He is the 6th heart hero of this past round of open heart surgeries.  When he was told it was time to go home, Fernando requested help with his wheelchair to visit the other patients in the intensive care unit. When he saw Itzel, another heart hero of this round, he extended his hand and gently gave his magic bracelet to her, hoping it would now help her to recover.  A true example of what it means to have the spirit of love. Congratulations Fernando!  All these life-saving procedures could not be possible without your help and support to the Los Cabos Children's Foundation to fund this amazing program called "Spirit of Love".
