About the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra the san fernando Valley symphony orchestra has been offering southern california audiences exceptional performances of classical master works as well as new music compositions for over 30 years. Led by founder-conductor James Domine, the artistic ensemble provides a highly respected showcase for top-notch instrumentalists, vocalists, composers, conductors and music educators. the orchestra’s yearly concert series features symphonic, operatic, and ballet repertoire. aside from providing the community with critically acclaimed concerts, the orchestra is featured in dramatic productions and Broadway musicals. the dedicated musicians also work in collaboration with community service organizations and local business establishments to produce and stage community outreach programs designed for diverse audiences of all ages. Building upon a strong season ticket subscription base and sold-out performances, the orchestra’s community support impresses civic and corporate leadership alike. the orchestra is a member of the american symphony orchestra League and the association of california symphony orchestras.
