Th/s post yeor, the three academic journals have brought more than just scholarly debate to the legal community. In the wake of the "committee on journals" report, the journals have brought an unprecedented unity to the student body and proof that Hofstra students are driven by the desire to excel. Good luck to the class of 1993. Steven I. Locke, Editor-in-Chief, Hofstra Labor Law Journal Bradley Gross, Editor-in-Chieff Hofstra Property Law Journal Karl J. The Student Bar Association would like to wish everyone the best of luck in their future careers. We have worked hard to make your law school experience a pleasant one. Whether assisting in the fight to keep the three journal system, or trying to throw a better party, we always had the best interests of the students in mind. S.B.A. members devoted their own time to accomplish these tasks. We hope that as everyone ventures out into their chosen careers they will have the opportunity to take a leadership role at some point. It is an experience that is both exhilarating and frustrating, one that cannot be fully described within the confines of these pages, but which must be experienced. Some of you felt that your only task in law school was to go to classes and read the material. We hope that you will come to the forefront during your professional careers and realize that you can accomplish so much more than mere existence. We have been told throughout our years at Hofstra that as students we take back seats to no one. As you move on into the "real world," take pride in Hofstra Law. Every time you achieve a goal, you enhance the reputation and prestige of this school. Fifty years ago there were many schools that did not get all the on campus interviews they get today. It is only the success of their alumni that has caused the reputation of that school to skyrocket. You can be a part of that process at Hofstra. Congratulations on your graduation! We hope that you will enjoy a long and prosperous career.
