GOLF MATTERS As you enter the Vale Resort you are instantly aware you have arrived at a venue that is passionate about golf. THE WALES NATIONAL At 7433 yards off the championship tees, the Wales National is one of the longest inland courses in the UK and a firm favourite for golfing breaks. Having played host to five European Tour events, the course is of true championship standard yet four different tee positions means golfers of every level can enjoy a challenging, fair and memorable round. Mature woodland, lakes and ponds, fearsome bunkers and USGA standard greens combine to provide a first class golfing experience and one that you will want to repeat time and time again.

THE LAKE COURSE Few UK resorts can boast two genuine championship courses, our Lake Course at 6436 yards, whilst shorter than the Wales National is also a true test of golf. Having played host to a number of PGA National Championships this picturesque course earns it’s name with water coming into play on no less than 10 holes. The course signature hole, the 12th, has it’s green on an island, never mind how good the tee shot, this hole is all about how good the second shot is. A firm favourite with golfers looking for a challenging yet relaxing round of golf.

CORPORATE GOLF Corporate golf days provide the perfect opportunity to build relationships with existing and potential customers, thank colleagues and friends or to simply network. With two courses to choose from, an almost limitless number of packages are available. Why not start your day with a tuition clinic hosted by one of our club professionals or combine golf with another activity such as clay shooting, paintball or quad biking. With our extensive conference facilities you may even wish to combine business and pleasure; a morning meeting followed by an afternoon of golf. When the golf is over you’ll find a number of dining and banqueting options available both in our clubhouse and hotel. THE PRO SHOP For the largest selection of the biggest names in golf, our well appointed pro shop, features golfing merchandise from J. Lindeberg, Lyle & Scott, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, Taylor Made and Titleist to name but a few. As a memento of your visit, we also offer an extensive range of Vale Resort branded clothing and accessories, all from top quality suppliers and, like everything else in the shop, at very competitive prices. For corporate days, your company branding can be incorporated onto a range of clothing and equipment making ideal gifts or prizes. As for clubs, we offer a free custom fit service as standard with every full set purchased. Clubs, trolleys and a fleet of buggies are also available for hire.

ACADEMY & COACHING Our academy and coaching facilities are second to none being a Ryder Cup Wales Centre of Excellence venue. Facilities include a 16 bay covered driving range, three practice putting greens, short game practice area, video swing analysis and a club custom fit centre. Coaching is available from any of our team of five coaching professionals including David Llewellyn, Ex Wales’ National Coach and Ex World Cup winner. Packages and clinics are also available for corporate clients, groups and individuals as well as special clinics for beginners, ladies and juniors – including our own Junior Academy scheme and junior clinic school holiday programmes.

APRES TEE After a challenging round of golf why not reminisce the shot that was (or could have been) the best over a relaxing drink. Make the most of the evening sun on our terrace areas or, if you prefer, you’ll find our spacious and friendly clubhouse most welcoming. As for dining - you’ll be spoiled for choice, whether you’re on a golfing break or attending a large corporate event. Options include a hearty meal in our golf bar, sample some of the mouth watering options available in our AA Rosette Vale Grill restaurant, or group dining in one of our many function suites.
