2nd day: Asolo, the Fascinating Underground Cellars, Prosecco & Cartizze Wines Your tour escort will collect you from your accommodation and will escort you to the Piazzale Roma area by private boat, then from here to the hinterland of the region Veneto by a luxury private chauffeured car. In the north of Venice lies the wine region of “Prosecco Docg di ConeglianoValdobbiadene”. This is the land of Palladian villas and gentle rolling hills covered in vines and noble manors. You will reach Asolo,“the town of one hundred horizons”, historically a refuge for the spiritual soul of many artists and three extraordinary women: Queen Caterina Cornaro, Eleonora Duse and Freya Stark. We advice you a walk with your private guide along the characteristic streets and squares of this lovely town to better enjoy its pleasant atmosphere. LUNCH AT AN AWARD-WINNING RESTAURANT LOCATED WITHIN A RENAISSANCE VILLA WITH A BREATHTAKING VIEW OVER THE ASOLO COUNTRYSIDE (beverages excluded). 3rd day: Castle Brandolini, Ancient Wine Cellars, an Historical Villa & the famous “Venetian Grappa” In the morning departure to Cison di Valmarino where a funicular takes you to the beautiful Castle Brandolini; impressive building of ancient origins, it is one of the finest examples of the redevelopment of the Italian historic and artistic heritage and one of the largest castles in Europe (private visit to the Castle included). LUNCH AT THE RESTAURANT OF THE CASTLE, A REFINED AND ELEGANT VENETIAN STYLE ENVIRONMENT WITH ITS OLD FRESCOES AND PRECIOUS PERIOD FURNITURE (beverages excluded). After lunch, continue by private car toward a former wine cellar of 1540, a true enocultural center, now a national monument where there is an illustrative path of the wineries and the historical monuments. The complex houses a historic cellar, the hall of tapestries, enhanced by the full cycle of "The Lady and the Unicorn" (sixteenth century) and the imposing beauty of a cheese shop-apothecary of 1840, the cedraia, with within the lapidarium and the private chapel, and the wine cellar, which houses a library consisting of some ancient texts on the subject of wine, art and territory. 4th day: Cortina & an aerobatic flight through Alps During the morning you will be transferred to the wonderful Cortina. This little city, very well known as the paradise of winter games skiing, snowboarding, etc..., offers an easy access to exploring the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites in all their splendor. LUNCH IN ONE OF THE MOST ANCIET AND FAMOUS RESTAURANT OF CORTINA (beverages excluded): it was an old park that in addition to the remittance service for horses and carriages, offered an elegant service of food and lodging. The house had great shine with characters in transit to and from the important AustroHungarian Empire. During the afternoon, you will have an aerobatic flight with a chopper around the Alps: an incredible experience, where you can see these wonderful mountains from a point of view never seen before. 5th day: Valpolicella wine country, Amarone & Verona Your private chauffeured car will transfer you to the beautiful Valpolicella wine country. You will visit a prestigious Amarone cellar with a complete explanation of the wine making and the unique grape drying process responsible for the production of this noble wine. A superb tasting of a selection of various wines will follow. After a morning of Amarone wine tasting, your next stop is to a FANTASTIC RESTAURANT IN THE HEART OF WINE COUNTRY (beverages excluded). You will have a tasting menu waiting for you with five courses of high quality northern Italian cuisine. After lunch, your chauffeur will escort to your historic and charming hotel. In the afternoon, your own private art guide will embark you on a walking tour of Verona’s best known monuments, accented with local anecdotes and legends. 6th day: Private Boat trip on Lake Garda & Michelin Starred Dining Rendezvous with your driver and your tour escort and head to the scenic town of Sirmione on Lake Garda. This morning you will enjoy some absolutely fantastic white wines at one of the most beautiful producers in the Lugana appellation. You will taste this white wine of old origin but almost unknown outside its small production area. Transfer to the picturesque port of Sirmione and a private motor launch will take you to a WONDERFUL RESTAURANT RIGHT ON THE LAKE (beverages excluded). This Michelin starred eatery is the most elegant in the area and cuisine is inspired and creative. After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of the lake by boat, you will see the Castello Scaligero, the villa where Maria Callas lived, the “Grotte di Catullo”, following the scenic coastlines to Bardolino, Lazise and other historical and charming villages. Transfer back to Sirmione via Punta San Vigilio where there is a gorgeous place for an aperitif. Your driver will be waiting for you to take you back to the hotel. 7th day: The Chianti area, a Michelin starred Osteria & Siena Departure in the morning towards the Chianti Area in Tuscany, one of the most beautiful in the whole region, as well as the most well-known and appreciated by visitors from across the world. Chianti offers a unique landscape, with green, gentle hills covered with wide fields of vineyards and olive groves, small stone villages, characteristic parishes and countryside homes in stone. Visit to a winery for a pleasant wine tasting in an historic estate with manicured gardens. On a private tour you will explore the grounds and finish with a tasting of their best wines and even Balsamic Vinegars. After the cellar visit you will enjoy an extra virgin Olive Oil tasting followed by an outstanding LUNCH AT THE MICHELIN STARRED OSTERIA (beverages excluded). Later you will carry on to the spectacular town of Siena. 8th day: San Giminiano, Volterra & the Bolgheri Area Today you will enjoy an excursion to San Gimignano, a gorgeous medieval village. Take in the lovely cobblestoned streets lined with restaurants, wine shops, ceramic shops, etc. Visit the medieval palaces and art museums. Sit on a terrace before you leave, tasting the local white tipple, Vernaccia di San Gimignano. After you will visit Volterra: a perfect small medieval town. High, with widest views, with Etruscan and Roman ruins. See the unique alabaster, and Etruscan style jewelery artworks. LUNCH IN A PLEASANT RESTAURANT (beverages excluded) based on local products with a great view on the surrounding hills. Stop in Bolgheri to visit a 40-hectare farming estate gently stretching between Castagneto Carducci and Bibbona and for a delicious wine tasting. Nature here remains in a pristine state; woods dominate the hillsides which, running parallel to the coast, protect it from winter’s worst cold.
