GOD’S SIMPLE PLAN OF SALVATION ~ Are You Going to Heaven? You Can Know For Sure! The Scriptures offer the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord. The following principles are given with the hope that they may help you see the great need of life that you have, and can receive through repentance and faith in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. [PLEASE NOTE: If you have access to a John / Romans printed by Bearing Precious Seed, the following material is a companion study to, and directly correlates with, the pages immediately following page 57 of that booklet.] YOU NEED TO SEE YOURSELF AS A LOST SINNER, SEPARATED FROM GOD AND CONDEMNED TO AN ETERNAL HELL. Isaiah 59:2a - “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you,” YOU NEED TO BE SAVED (BORN AGAIN). John 3:3, 7 - “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” Luke 19:10 - “For the Son of man (the Lord Jesus Christ) is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF. Titus 3:5a - “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,” Ephesians 2:8-9 - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” JESUS HAS PROVIDED FOR YOUR SALVATION AND DELIVERANCE FROM HELL. John 10:30 - “I (the Lord Jesus) and my Father are one.” John 14:6 - “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 10:10b - “ . . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” I Timothy 1:15 - “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” Hebrews 9:12 - “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” I Corinthians 15:3b-4 - “ . . . Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” YOU MUST REPENT AND ACCEPT BY FAITH THE LORD JESUS FOR YOUR SALVATION AND A HOME IN HEAVEN. (To repent means to change one’s mind . . . to change one’s mind about his sinful condition and sin before the holy God.) Acts 20:21b - “ . . . repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Mark 2:17b - “ . . . I (the Lord Jesus) came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 13:3 - “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Acts 16:31 - “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” John 1:12 - “But as many as received him (the Lord Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” Romans 10:9-10 - “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” TODAY IS THE DAY TO ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR. II Corinthians 6:2b - “ . . . behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” Hebrews 3:7-8a - “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts,” CALL ON THE LORD NOW TO SAVE YOU FROM HELL AND GIVE YOU ETERNAL LIFE. Romans 10:12-13 - “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO REPENT, HUMBLY ADMIT YOUR LOST CONDEMNED CONDITION AS A SINNER BEFORE GOD, AND TURN TO THE LORD JESUS BY FAITH, TRUSTING HIM ALONE FOR FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS AND THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. John 6:37b - “ . . . him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” PERHAPS THESE WORDS COULD HELP EXPRESS YOUR HEART TO THE LORD . . . “God, be merciful to me a sinner, lost and deserving hell. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried and rose again. Right now, by faith, I receive Jesus Christ into my heart as my Savior, trusting in Him alone for the forgiveness of my sins and eternal life. Thank you for saving me; thank you for making me your child; thank you for giving me a home in heaven. Now help me to live for you from this day forward. Amen.” * * * * * * *

As a Child of God, Live Every Day For The Glory of God! REST IN THE SECURITY OF GOD ONCE YOU HAVE ASKED HIM TO SAVE YOU. John 20:31 - “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 5:24 - “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” FOLLOW THE LORD JESUS ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD. John 10:27 - “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 14:15 - “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER SEEKING AN INDEPENDENT BAPTIST CHURCH (ONE THAT BELIEVES THE BIBLE AND PREACHES THE GOSPEL) AND BE BAPTIZED IN OBEDIENCE TO YOUR LORD Acts 2:41 - “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” Hebrews 10:24-25 - “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” READ THE SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY. I Peter 2:2 - “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” PRAY DAILY AND THROUGHOUT THE DAY. Philippians 4:6-7 - “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” I Timothy 2:1 - “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;” SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH OTHERS. Acts 4:12 - “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Mark 16:15 - “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This gospel presentation was copied from the back of Bearing Precious Seed’s “The Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John and Romans”, which is published by concerned Independent Baptist Churches in the United States of America.
