Denmark: Finnish meat products manufacturer Atria to acquire Aalbaek Specialiteter, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of organic meat products. France: German retailer Metro has placed a bid to acquire Classic Fine Foods, in a deal that is potentially worth US$400m. Australia: Chongqing Hondo Agriculture Group plans to acquire US$100m of Australian cattle stations over the next year.
