Shower & Mirror Hardware Recommendations - Frameless Glass Showerscreen Recommendations The presentation of the final finished product must be considered in conjunction with correct water sealing, structural bracing and measuring tolerance. Lincoln Group recommends the following:

Glass to Wall:

Maximum glass width = 800mm Maximum glass height = 2100mm Maximum weight = 45kg

Glass to Glass:

Maximum glass width = 750mm Maximum glass height = 2100mm Maximum weight = 45kg

• Glass doors or panels that exceed recommended measurements above (i.e. over sized or over weight) will require an extra hinge.

• Dow Corning - 999A 100% silicone sealant is recommended on all toughened glass to glass butt joints.

• Stud fixing is recommended for all frameless glass installations

• Please consider the position of the water rose when designing for frameless showerscreen.

• All shower screens should be designed and installed in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards using 8mm or 10mm toughened “A” grade safety glass. All documentation in accordance to Australian Standards must clearly identify “A” grade safety glass and bear applicable standard marks.

• The selection of the correct water seal can offer reduced water leakage. Waterseals can be applied to horizontal or vertical gaps, including the door perimeter area.

• Please allow clearances for waterseals and fixing brackets (to be calculated and subtracted from glass size). See page 2R:24

Recommendations - Accessories • Solid brass extruded water bars are available in square(A), half round(B) or splade type(C) for adhering to bathroom floors directly under shower screen doors. These can be used with or without seals and are available in many finishes.

• Solid brass extruded header bars are manufactured to order and are available in many finishes. Please specify type, length and handing required.
