Day 1 Luton, UK. On arrival at the five-star Luton Hoo Hotel enjoy a meet and greet drinks reception and dinner and get to know your fellow travellers and dedicated tour escort team. Stay overnight at Luton Hoo in a Mansion House room. Day 2 Luton to Accra, Ghana. After breakfast we transfer to the exclusive Harrods terminal at Luton airport and join our Private Jet. Relax in the spacious cabin, fitted with just 44 Business Class seats and enjoy a glass of complimentary Champagne, fine dining and great service from our specially selected cabin crew. We arrive in Accra, the fascinating capital city of Ghana, later today and transfer to the luxurious Movenpick Ambassador hotel in the heart of the city for three nights. Day 3 Accra, Ghana. Our morning tour includes the Dubois Centre, the centre for Pan Africanism, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and the historic old town centre of James Town. This afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the fine hotel or wander the streets of this intriguing city.

Cape Town

Day 6 Sossusvlei, Namibia. A day of incredible desert scenery awaits us. We make an early start to visit the brick red glowing sand dunes of Sossusvlei. The energetic can climb to the top and experience the wonderful views. Later we join four wheel drive vehicles for the last kilometres into the Vlei, a clay depression surrounded by dunes that only fills with water from the Tsauchab River in good seasons. We continue to Sesriem Canyon, which was buried into the sand layers by the Tsauchab River over millions of years. This evening enjoy a special BBQ dinner in the nearby hills. Day 7 Cape Town, South Africa. We join smaller aircrafts for our flights back to Walvis Bay where we rejoin our Private Jet to fly to Cape Town, where we arrive mid afternoon for our three night stay at the wonderful Cape Grace Hotel. Tonight we enjoy a special dinner amongst some of Cape Town’s famous predators.

Day 4 Accra, Ghana. Today you can choose to explore the stunning Cape Coast on a full day trip. Renowned for its spectacular castles and forts built during the slave trade era, we visit Cape Coast Castle and its superb museum, St George’s Castle and Fort St Jago. Enjoy lunch at a beachside restaurant before returning to Accra.

Day 8 Cape Town, South Africa. This morning we will ride the famous rotating cable car up Table Mountain for one of the world’s most stunning views. We then visit the Cape Winelands and the lovely old university town of Stellenbosch, which abounds in Cape-Dutch style architecture. We enjoy lunch and a wine tasting of some of South Africa’s finest wines at a top vineyard before returning to Cape Town mid-afternoon for free time to shop and explore. Tonight enjoy dinner at one of Cape Town’s finest restaurants.

Day 5 Sossusvlei, Namibia. Sink into your comfortable Business Class seat and enjoy the fine onboard service as we fly down the coast of Africa to Namibia. On arrival in Walvis Bay we transfer to smaller aircrafts to head out into the Namib Desert. We spend two nights at the Sossusvlei Lodge, located at the entrance of the National Park. Enjoy the stars shining from the desert sky and breathe in the clear pure air of this part of the world with dinner this evening, which will include game specialities, served overlooking the desert. Watch out for a variety of the region’s antelopes which are visible from the lodge most of the time.

Day 9 Cape Town, South Africa. This morning we take a ferry to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 19 years. We see the former President’s cell and tour the jail on this eerie prison island. The trip back to Cape Town offers magnificent views of the city and Table Mountain. This afternoon we tour Cape Peninsula, travelling via the scenic villages of Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and Simonstown and stop to view a penguin colony enroute. We ride the funicular to the top of Cape Point for the spectacular view over the Cape of Good Hope and after a breathtaking scenic coastal drive we return to our hotel. Enjoy a dine-around evening; choose to

dine with your tour manager or independently at one of a selection of restaurants on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Day 10 Okavango Delta, Botswana. We rejoin our Private Jet in Cape Town this morning and fly to Botswana and join a private flight to one of Africa’s greatest game viewing regions – the Okavango Delta, a vast area of crystal clear water and home to an amazing variety of birds and wildlife. Fed by flood water from the Angolan Highlands it fans out into a shifting web of palm fringed channels, lagoons and islands, gently soaking away to the Kalahari Desert in the south. Here we stay in a deluxe tented camp and will enjoy all our meals in a delightful outdoor setting within the African bush. We will stay at a deluxe tented camp for three nights (group will be split between several smaller camps). Days 11 & 12 Okavango Delta, Botswana. Travellers regard the Okavango Delta as one of the most spectacular and beautiful natural areas in southern Africa, covering over 1,000km2 of grassy flood plains including savannahs, waterways with banks of reeds, palm covered islands, thick mopane forest and lush lily covered lagoons. We will explore the Okavango Delta by mokoro (a traditional dugout canoe) and 4WD and will take game viewing safaris each morning and late afternoon, with ample time to relax and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. Day 13 Victoria Falls, Zambia. Enjoy a final game viewing cruise this morning and some time to relax before our early afternoon private charter flight to Kasane. We then drive across the border to the Zambian side of the falls. Stay at the luxurious Royal Livingstone Hotel, located on the banks of the Zambezi and a short walk from the falls, for two nights. Stroll around the grounds of our stunning hotel this afternoon, perhaps enjoy a drink by the river and watch hippos bravely bathing near the top of the falls. Day 14 Victoria Falls, Zambia. in the world, Victoria Falls is classified as the largest based on its width and height creating the world’s largest sheet of water so be prepared to get a little wet on our walk around the falls this morning. Raging torrents and plunging falls are not the only thing here to see – walk with lions; head out on an elephant safari; or take a helicopter flight for a bird’s eye view of the falls (all options additional cost).

Today aboard our 4WD jeeps we survey the plains of the Serengeti, hoping to get within arm’s reach of the ‘Big Five’ kings. Imagine watching zebras and gazelles graze quietly while a heard of wildebeest follow in single file, just metres from your eyes. Or spotting a hidden lioness in the dry grass. These are the incredible moments of Africa.

Day 15 Isalo National Park, Madagascar. We leave Victoria Falls behind and make our way to our Private Jet for our flight to the remote Indian Ocean island of Madagascar. Isolated from Africa millions of years ago, the world’s fourth largest island has evolved an incredibly rich ecology and a landscape that is bizarre as it is unique. It is a biodiversity hotspot, and over 80% of its plant and animal species are found nowhere else on earth. Stay at the Isalo Rock Lodge in the National Park for two nights.

Day 19 Serengeti, Tanzania. Today is devoted to game viewing, as we spend the day discovering the plains of one of the world’s best game parks.

Day 16 Isalo National Park, Madagascar. Madagascar’s Isalo National Park in South Western Madagascar, often referred to as the Jurassic Park, is arguably the best place to see ring-tailed lemurs and white sifakas dancing and jumping in the wild. It is one of the country’s most dramatic and pleasant national parks with a wide variety of terrain, including sandstone formations, deep canyons, palmlined oases, and grassland. We spend the day exploring the park to see what we can find.

Day 21 Kigali, Rwanda. An unforgettable experience is ahead of us today. After an early morning breakfast we drive to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcano, where more than half of the world’s last mountain gorillas live and made famous by the film ‘Gorillas in the Mist’. After a briefing from the ranger guides, we will start the gorilla tracking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. Hiking and tracking gorillas may take one to eight hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Local regulations allow us to sit and view the gorillas for one hour only. ** Please note a high level of fitness will be required to experience the Gorillas

Day 17 Serengeti, Tanzania. After a relaxed morning we take a short flight to Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro airport. Hopefully we will have great views of Africa’s highest mountain before landing. We then board our local flight to Africa’s largest game reserve, the Serengeti. It not only contains the greatest concentration of game found anywhere on earth, but is also the playground of the largest annual migration in the world. As we make our way to our lodge this afternoon, keep an eye out for game. Stay at luxurious Four Seasons Safari Lodge for three nights. Day 18 Serengeti, Tanzania. Capture first light over the Serengeti on a majestic balloon flight

Day 20 Kigali, Rwanda. There is time for one more game drive before taking our smaller aircrafts back to Kilimanjaro Airport and boarding our Private Jet as we make our way to Rwanda and the capital city of Kigali. Stay at Kigali Serena Hotel for two nights.

Day 22 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We leave our hotel in Kigali to rejoin our Private Jet for the mid afternoon flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s fascinating captial. Ethiopia is an African enigma, combining a rich history, mosaic of cultures - it was one of the first Christian countries, yet is heavily influenced by Islam and African tribes - and incredible geographic diversity. Stay at luxurious Sheraton Addis Ababa, one of Africa’s finest hotels and located in the heart of the city, for three nights.

Day 23 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Today we tour the city visiting the National Archaeological Museum, which houses the 3.6 million year old skeleton of ‘Lucy’, confirming Ethiopia’s reputation as the ‘cradle of humanity’. We also ascend Mt Entolo for a panoramic view of the city and have ample time for shopping at Merkato, the largest open air market in Africa. This afternoon is free for you to explore this intriguing city. Enjoy a dine-around evening at any of the hotel’s four restaurants this evening. Day 24 Lalibela, Ethiopia. We take a day trip by local charter flight to historic Lalibela, regarded as one of the wonders of the world. The remote town’s rock hewn churches were carved out of solid rock by King Lalibela, who ruled Ethiopia in the early 13th century. Each of the 11 churches has its own architectural characteristics. The rugged setting in the Lasta Mountains, at an altitude of 2,630 metres, adds to the atmosphere. Lalibela is sure to be a highlight of our tour. We return to Addis Ababa for a final dinner this evening and reminisce about our amazing trip. Day 25 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to London. Enjoy a relaxing morning before we join our Private Jet for the flight back to Luton. Enjoy the fine food and convivial atmosphere as you farewell new found friends.
